For edition six of Chill:In we were aked to prepare a one-hour set to one of the nine themes set out in Rasa Theory. 

Primarily developed in Indian aesthetics, rasa theory proposes that the primary goal of art is to evoke specific emotions or "rasas" in the audience. These rasas are considered aesthetic flavors, arising from the interaction of various elements within a work of art, such as characters, language, and presentation. The theory identifies nine rasas: 
- Sringara (Love/Erotic): Associated with beauty, attraction, and romantic love. 
- Hasya (Humor/Comic): Elicits laughter and amusement. 
- Karuna (Sorrow/Compassionate): Evokes feelings of sadness, pity, and empathy. 
- Raudra (Anger/Furious): Generates anger and rage. 
- Vira (Heroic/Valiant): Inspires courage and bravery. 
- Bhayanaka (Fear/Terrible): Creates fear and terror. 
- Bibhatsa (Disgust/Odious): Generates feelings of revulsion and aversion. 
- Adbhuta (Wonder/Marvel/Curiosity): Evokes a sense of wonder and amazement. 
- Shanta (Peace/Tranquil): Brings about a sense of calm and serenity. 

The theme assigned to me was Adbhuta: which relates to wonder, marvel and curiosity.

Mooky Musik Recordings is a  colaboration, created with fellow independent artists, abstract artists, electronic musicians, songwriter-producers etc.  Facilitated to bring awareness of mental health and drug addiction to help inspire others to become addicted to creativity instead of escaping into drugs and alcohol that can cause mental illness, psychosis depression and anxiety from addiction.

Mooky Musik Recordings songwriting and producing music concept was firstly created on Soundcloud in 2011 to help Michael as music therapy for always  being in recovery as an ex-addict and to help other  musicians in recovery and suffering with their mental health to help with drug addiction and also inspire ex-addicts to make music and art as self-therapy!

Mission Statement:

Michael is on an ongoing creative and musicial journey of self discovery and recovery since 1996, by creating art and music for self-therapy, and to help inspire others who are suffering in silence from drug addiction, mental health problems and symptoms as a coping mechanism in recovery!
In 1996, at the age of 19 years old, Michael suffered from drug addiction and drug induced pschosis and spent 10 weeks in rehab. 
It was the most traumatic experience of his life as a young aspiring Independent artist, singer/songwriter-producer.

Michael A Smith is on a mission to help inspire others to healthy addictions like listening to and making music, making art, helping  others cope with their mental health symptoms as musicians to help guide them to their own birthright of inner-peace, mental wellbeing to make music for self-therapy and to potentially treat their diagnosis alongside a mental health treatment globally!
