Finding your sound as a musician is a long and hard journey. We have been making music together for almost 10 years now, whether it was with our garage rock band or as music producers. We have experimented with everything from dubstep to moombahton and after years of searching we think we are starting  to get close to finding our true sound. That is what Explorers is about. For all those times we had to fight the uphill battle with writers block and self doubt, for all those time we chose to make what we truly loved and not just what was trendy at the moment. After being a fan of @aviella-winder for a while she sent me the demo that has since turned into this record. it has gone through so many different versions during the 7 months we've been working on it that we even ended up making an acoustic.

I managed to finish this idea by leaving it for a few weeks without listening to it or working on it. A fresh pair of ears when I came back helped me create within something that wasn't finished in the first place. I never used to work well like this but every track on this EP has been finished this way.
