The 75th EP on Moon Harbour is one that connects the past with the present: the release is made up of three remixes and re-edits of classic tracks by label boss Matthias Tanzmann. Charged with serving up these goods are one third of Apollonia, namely Frenchman Shonky, Saved Records boss Nic Fanciulli and his brother Mark and, finally, Matthias himself updates one of his own cuts. Proving that Moon Harbour have evolved on their own terms whilst always staying true to their roots, this EP is yet another modern tech house masterclass.

Born in Peru and now based in Phoenix, Gio Lucca (ISO, Black Book, Deeperfect) is on a mission to make people dance and boogie, and the titled "Control" EP on La Zic is a testament to his commitment. With support from some of the industry’s best, such as Jamie Jones and Marco Carola, to name a few, Gio Lucca's ascent to the major stages seems to be inevitable and under... control.

Retro-house fat drums and funky disco jabs are the bread and butter on the lead track, while "Keep It Quiet" - in collaboration with Argentinian talent Julio Bravo - offers glitchy atmospheres, tight grooves, and deadly, pointy bass licks. The EP gets enriched by two remixes, with Proudly People delivering a rolling, tech version designed for the early hour moments on the terrace, while Lolu Menayed sets the tone with a dreamy, afterhours tool.

We are delighted to welcome Alev Tav back to the label. Last time she was on GU, she was treading a more techno path, delivering 4/4 slammers for peak-time DJs like Paco Osuna. Since then, she has won a Pete Tong DJ Academy Award and relocated to Ibiza. Slots at Hi, and other prime spots have followed. Here she delves into her Eastern European roots and forms a collaboration with legendary Lithuanian singer Alanas Chosnau.
