Break The Lies

This album is my personal "fanmade" tribute to Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End – fully inspired by the anime Frieren world, with emotion, magic, and epic fantasy vibes.
As NC Kawaii Music (aka. Nezuki_chan) I composed 10 orchestral and choral tracks that capture the atmosphere of Frieren’s world: from ruthless duels to quiet, melancholic moments.

Celtic orchestral vibes

Staccato strings & aggressive brass stabs

Intense, martial percussion & duel energy

Hypnotic motifs & fast, driving rhythms

Ethereal choir pads & shimmering synth textures

Mystical, warm choral passages & slow harmonic shifts

Large-scale, cinematic production with lots of dynamic changes

With these pieces, I wanted to capture the feeling of:

old memories that never fade

battles that leave you stronger

the loneliness of long journeys

the magic hidden between the lines of Frieren

Week 52 of 52 — The Final Week

For the final chapter of this 52/52 challenge, it felt only right to remix “Outro” by @m83 . This song has always felt like an ending that’s also a beginning — expansive, emotional, and full of quiet hope. The perfect way to close out a year-long journey.

This year has been mental at times. High highs, low lows, moments of doubt, moments of clarity. But committing to making and sharing a piece of music every single week forced me to grow in ways I didn’t expect — creatively, emotionally, and as an artist. I learned how to trust my instincts faster, let go of perfection, take more risks, and keep moving even when inspiration felt far away.

With this remix, I wanted to lean fully into the cinematic nature of the original — stretching it into something that feels reflective, spacious, and earned. A deep exhale after a long journey. A look back at everything this year taught me, and a quiet excitement for what’s ahead.

This challenge reminded me why I started making music in the first place — to feel something, to tell a story, and to connect. I’m endlessly grateful for everyone who listened, shared, encouraged, and rode along for this entire 52-week adventure.

Finnish live Electropunk duo I Think I Broke Something’s long awaited debut LP is finally here! “Add Spikes On Top” comes at you with full speed and 10 new high energy originals by ITIBS, who take their dynamic lyric driven mix of Electro, Breaks, Punk and Electronica to the next level with their first album.

Creative and fresh with a touch of weird, these guys have already shown time and time again with their previous releases that their music is one of a kind and “Add Spikes On Top” builds on the duo’s ability to back their wild attitude with their unique sound and characteristic music. This isn’t well polished and uniformed Electronic music. ITIBS don’t care about following commercial standards and recycling already used musical recipes. This is raw Electropunk with one and only purpose. Get you moving, dancing, jumping around and headbanging (preferably all at the same time).

And of course staying loyal to their punk DIY origins and influences, I Think I Broke Something’s debut comes with a completely self made music video for the track “Attitude” too, proving that the duo’s creative impulses extend beyond their music and allowing their crazy style to bleed over into the accompanying visuals. Just don’t forget to add spikes on top…
