German act Rezident delivers a stunning rework of Ben Böhmer’s standout single ‘Erase’ with British singer and producer lau.ra. 

Ben Böhmer and his sophomore album ‘Begin Again’ are becoming fast favourites staple in the world of electronic music. The album has accumulated over 40m streams, and Ben has sold out all dates on his 30-date headline tour, with a total of 35,000 tickets purchased. His stellar run continues as he takes to the festival circuit this summer, appearing at renowned festivals such as Junction 2, Rock In Rio, EDC Las Vegas and îLESONIQ. 

Rezident, who has supported Ben on the European leg of his album tour, now rewords one of the most loved singles from the album. His remix of ‘Erase’ maintains the dreamy and atmospheric sounds of the original, whilst adding an upbeat energy that acts as a perfect counterpoint to lau.ra’s dreamy vocals.

‘Erase’ (Rezident Remix) is out on Anjunadeep on May 25, ahead of the full ‘Begin Again (Remixed)’ package, which is available to pre-order now, ahead of its release on June 15.

Argentinean DJ and producer Emi Galvin has consistently defied expectations throughout his much-lauded decade-long career. A rich musical background with time spent in rock bands playing guitar and singing gave Emi’s electronic compositions a measurable creative edge. This elusive sound did not go unnoticed as he quickly earned the praise of genre tastemakers Cid Inc, Eelke Kleijn, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren; while landing career defining releases via Balance, Sudbeat and The Soundgarden. Also an accomplished DJ, Emi’s long undulating sets have been applauded for their impeccable track selection and exquisite programming. Tel Aviv-based artist Yotam Russo (formerly known as Lott) signs to Local Suicide’s label Iptamenos Discos and announces  his new ‘Twilight Zone Disko’ EP which will be out May 26th, 2023 on limited clear vinyl & digital. 
The 3-tracker is the Israelis most mature release to date and perfectly showcases his unique approach to modern electronic  dance music. Being known for his fusion of heavy drum machines with psychedelic guitars, acid melody-hooks and catchy  vocals he creates a rich spectrum of sound that takes listeners on a journey through a range of emotions and genres.Over time, he has cultivated a distinct style characterized by by an optimistic and upbeat vibe that is both nostalgic and contemporary. In this EP he expands his creative expression by adding meaningful text that resonates with his audience, making his music a powerful vehicle for storytelling. Whether this be via performing live or in the studio, Russo innovatively blends genres from Indie Dance, Synthpop, Dark Disco to House & Acid often referring to bands like LCD Soundsystem, Soulwax or The Faint. 
The EP’s title track & first single ‘Twilight Zone Disko‚ is a punk approach to disco, with distorted vocals, and hypnotic synths,  it aims to make the listener feel like they’re never alone on the dance floor. The track’s gradual ascent is driven by a  combination of the drum machine’s rhythmic beats and the alluring lyrics, resulting in a psychedelic sound. The ‘second single  ‘From The Speaker To The Right’ alludes to the desire of a young generation to dance and detach from the world outside of  the club. The track’s progression is dictated by the drum machine, which interweaves, and is layered alongside, with evocative  synthetic sounds and jarring sound effects like sirens, creating a moody and captivating journey. The closer ‘Take Some Time‚  is a homage to the desire to create, and the risks that come with following your passion. By incorporating prominent  psychedelic guitar riffs, the track exudes a punk rock energy that merges seamlessly with the funky beat. This blend of genres  results in a novel and dynamic sound that’s both edgy and catchy. 
This EP is set to release via Iptamenos Discos on May 26th, 2023 with three original tracks and two radio edits on a strictly limited clear Dubplate 12” and made available digitally via Iptamenos Discos on May 26th, 2023.

Moon Boots’ ‘Come Back Around’, featuring Cherry Glazerr, receives two remixes from Romain Garcia and Liam Fitzgerald. ‘Come Back Around’ is taken from Moon Boots’ recently released third studio album ‘Ride Away’, and has accumulated over 1.5million streams across DSPs so far, as well racking up 94 spins on SiriusXM after being playlisted on ‘Diplo’s Revolution’ and ‘BPM’. The track features the vocals of Clementine Creevy of Cherry Glazerr, a rock band championed by Pitchfork, NME and Rolling Stone to name a few.

Following his 2020 debut release, ‘Cappadocia’, a collaboration with Ben Böhmer on Cercle Records, which has accrued over 17million streams on Spotify alone, Romain Garcia has confirmed he’s “one of the key names in the current melodic house scene” (DJ Mag). Romain has released two EPs via Anjunadeep since then that have received widespread support including from BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM and SiriusXM, on which lead single ‘Before You Go’ was one of the most played tracks of 2022. His remix of ‘Come Back Around’ sees his trademark uplifting synths recontextualise Creevy’s vocals as a melodic house anthem.

GRAMMY-winning producer and one third of electronic trio NERO, Joseph Ray, announces his new single ‘Blue Nights’.

With an evolving lead and a rolling bassline on ‘Blue Nights’, Joseph Ray showcases his expansive production style that has earned him support from DJ Koze, Solomun, Pete Tong, Hunee and more. Joseph first debuted the track at Anjunadeep Open Air Los Angeles (ABGT500) to a sold-out crowd of over 12,000 fans, where it received a great reception.

The artwork for the single borrows from the iconic ‘90s UK nightlife photography of Dave Swindells and hints at the influence behind Joseph Ray’s latest release: the pulsating energy of UK house and jungle music.

Rezident releases the three-track ‘Only For A Moment EP’. Highlighting the ever-evolving sound of the label, Anjunabeats is proud to welcome Tinlicker for their first single outing.

Bringing a dance floor sensibility to the deeper end of the electronic spectrum, the Dutch duo Jordi van Achthoven and Micha Heyboer have courted the attention of global labels and tastemakers since breaking out in 2013. Prolific musicians with backgrounds in dubstep and pop production, their journey so far has seen them release on the likes of Mau5trap, Armada, Sotto Voce and Anjunadeep - with an a eclectic array of DJ support from Above & Beyond to Oliver Heldens, Tiësto to Yotto.

Able to turn their hand to deep house, techno and electro, the pair have reworked the likes of Lane 8 and Deadmau5; their stunning update of Reflekt ‘Need To Feel Loved’ becoming a sought after mix among fellow DJs over the last 12 months.

Having played every stop of the Anjunabeats 17 date North American tour this Spring, their first single on the label partners them with Run Rivers (Chris James) for ‘Lost’. With previous collaborations including DJ Shadow and Joe Ashworth, Chris adds a yearning quality to the rolling grooves of ‘Lost’.

TInlicker explains how the collaboration came about, “The first track we tried to make with Chris just didn't want to succeed and then suddenly out of the blue this gem appeared. The power of almost giving up, but persevering comes through in the song”.

With summer shows including festival sets at Creamfields, Tomorrowland and CRSSD (CA), we look forward to discovering more about the Tinlicker universe in the coming months.

Canadian DJ/Producer Dezza has also had a whirlwind of a year, releasing his debut artist album Cosmos, a tour of Australia, ASOT900 and then playing at the Budlight Dreams festival in Toronto in June. Colorscapes Volume One will be supported by a launch party at London's renowned venue Egg on the 22nd of September which will see Matt Fax and Dezza headline with support from Amy Wiles, Boxer, Sound Quelle and Steve Brian pres. Cabriolet Paris. An official label event will also be held in October during Amsterdam Dance Event, followed by a North American co-headline tour from Matt Fax and Dezza that will feature other prominent Colorize artists.
