Arbutus is an artistic community based in Montréal, where punk ethos and pop music collide. Beginning as a DIY loft space, Arbutus Records developed to cultivate and promote the music associated with the space with a strong emphasis on friendship and collaboration.

FLESH PRISON IS AN INDEPENDENT, ARTIST-OWNED RECORD LABEL. 
The artists we work with retain ownership of their material, and an equal share of the proceeds from that material. Informed by Industrial music, we have no aesthetic directives other than to deliver what we feel is the best creative work. Our ethos is defined by community, inclusively and integrity. Former ownership of Electric Voice Records, with expanded administers & management.
