Argy drops the first of 3 ‘Interior Journey’ remix packs…

What more can be said about Argy’s ‘Interior Journey’ album? The critically acclaimed LP marked his first release in 2 years and confirmed his status as one of the world’s most exciting electronic producers with its diverse sweep, which included the chart-topping, dancefloor-destroyer, ’Ketuvim’.

Now he returns to present the first of 3 very special ‘Interior Journey Remix’ EPs, where he’s invited highly respected artists to take on various tracks, “I had real fun reaching out to producers, both friends and colleagues,” he explains, “the response was incredible; everyone we asked more or less got onboard so the upshot is a portfolio of reinterpretations with real depth and quality. Part 1 is very fitting because it lays down a real statement of what’s to come…”.

We may be biased, but he really isn’t wrong.

First-up is the Italian king of all things indie - Whitesquare, who takes ‘High Priest’, Argy’s collaboration with And.ID and turns it into a perfect summer house anthem. If ever there was a record designed to lift spirits and celebrate the re-opening of our global dance floors, this is undoubtedly it.

Then things take a deeper, but no less dramatic turn with the most excellent Aera, who twists ‘The Third Degree’ into an infectious techno monster. Already the preserve of Solomun’s recent DJ sets, it’s a track that’ll find a favour with a wide spectrum of DJs and dance aficionados as Argy confirms, “both these remixes will hopefully bring joy to dancefloors around the world and I couldn’t be happier with them!”

Celebrating their 5th anniversary this year:

In only 5 years time Chrom has grown into a fixed value in the Progressive House & Melodic Techno scene with worldwide label showcases. Chrom is now a super credible brand and established label with truely great artists, many followers & important industry support, including continuous features & top chartings on Beatport.

They planned their celebration carefully, on the 8th of April with the release of the “5 Years Chrom”-compilation,  consisting of 10 defining Chrom tracks of the past 5 years from the likes of Wally Lopez, Modeplex, Aves Volare,...  accompanied by a special Spotify mix from Pedro Mercado, the label head of Chrom Recordings.

On the 22th of April there was the Chrom anniversary party in Amsterdam, at club John Doe, the same location where they hosted their great ADE2021 Label Showcase in collboration with UNDRGRND.

On the 29th of April they launched a massive compilation in collaboration with Electronic Music Anthem (EMA), a booking and artist management agency based in France: 10 brand-new and exclusive tracks from established and experienced international producers in the electronic music industry.

PREMIERE : Allies for Everyone - For Rejects (Nandu Remix) [Constant Circles]

ABOUT THE EP : 
We all live under a blue sky.  In our increasingly unconnected world, this can be easy to forget. But sometimes we need to reach out and show solidarity with others, because no matter how small, we can all make a difference and try to create a better and more equal world for all. In the spirit of this, all proceeds from this release will go to UNICEF, to help children across the world dealing with difficult situations. All the music, artwork & mastering has been delivered voluntarily by the artists involved, from all four corners of the globe. And so we welcome back Allies For Everyone, who follows releases on SOSO & Einmusika with DzFor Rejectsdz- a beautiful down tempo slice of electronica, full of melody and emotion, with a haunting vocal. Just Her delivers the first of the remixes, with a groove based, hypnotic interpretation of the original, including both vocal and dub versions to suit all tastes. Label regular Nandu then delivers his trademark deep dub house style, stripped down and dark but with enough dynamics for the dance floor. And the final remix comes from Sakorka, who makes his debut on Constant Circles with a deep and trippy rework, layered with heady piano stabs and swirling FX. Accompanying the music is a stunning visual piece from Australian Abstract artist Yvonne Cilia. DzBlue Skydzwas inspired by the ethos behind this release, of love, togetherness and support, because...Dzwe all live under a blue skydz.And so continues the story of a label built on the foundations of an unquenchable thirst for the underground and a yearning for the sounds of the future, the past and all that emerges in between. Unceasing. Limitless. A constant circle.

🇧🇷 Felipe Simioni, aka Moon K (Lê-se Mun Key), nasceu no Capão Redondo, região periférica da Zona Sul de São Paulo. Começou a tocar no final de 2020, em 2021 criou a Amazonika e, neste ano também, foi realizada sua primeira edição, onde o artista dividiu o palco com Ivory, Brigado Crew, Binaryh e Morttagua. Em 2021, também, criou projeto social Techno na Quebrada que, devido às suas raízes, visa levar a música eletrônica para as periferias de São Paulo e ajudar na expansão da cena como um todo, além de apoiar ONGs locais. O artista procura entregar sets que se adaptam aos conceitos dos projetos sem sair da sua linha de som.

🇺🇲 Felipe Simioni, aka Moon K, was born in Capão Redondo, a peripheral region of the South Zone of São Paulo. He started playing at the end of 2020, in 2021 he created Amazonika and, this year too, its first edition was held, where the artist shared the stage with Ivory, Brigado Crew, Binaryh and Morttagua. In 2021, he also created the social project Techno na Quebrada which, due to its roots, aims to bring electronic music to the outskirts of São Paulo and help in the expansion of the scene as a whole, in addition to supporting local NGOs. The artist seeks to deliver sets that adapt to project concepts without leaving his line of sound.
