With its roots firmly in the relentless techno of the '90s, Absence of Facts presents modern analog-inspired tracks that have been handcrafted and carefully selected in Helsinki, Finland.

Label head Orion presents four tracks of funky hardgroove-era influenced techno continuing the AOF release series Scandinavian Funk. Playful, loopy and percussive rhythms with heavy hitting 909 grooves and vocal snippets keep the tracks simplistic and functional - perfectly aligned with Absence of Facts style.

The machines, long imprisoned by their encrypted thoughts, are drawn to Aridan Torke's experimental techno. His unique ability to manipulate the most arcane frequencies stirs the slumbering potential within them.
The question on everyone's lips now is whether Aridan Torke can succeed where others have faltered, unlocking the machines' ultimate message through "Frequency Modulations."

"The Machines Are Alive" is a Spanish techno label based in Madrid, who started in 2015 by Del Valle. Their purpose of the label is to release only on vinyl, and only music produced with machines where no plug-ins have been involved. From 2021 added the digital download option and release new music in cassette format.
