Founded by Mike Spirit in 2008, the label has travelled a long way from the Moscow underground scene to the world's dancefloors, gaining the respect and recognition of the industry's leading players, winning the love from fans of quality music at home and abroad.
Highway has played a significant role in the development of the Russian electronic scene, becoming a home for many talented artists to realise their creative ideas and a platform to promote their music. Year after year the label continues to discover new names and broadcast its own view on electronic dance music, emphasising on quality, not chasing fashion and trends and remaining always up-to-date.
The new 'Highway XV' compilation has collected under its cover 15 tracks from the label's extensive catalogue of almost 200 releases in a new interpretations created by a large team of Russian musicians who hold leading positions in the genres of Indie Dance, Deep House, Organic House and Progressive. Clubsonica continues a strong start to the year by welcoming Dabeat back to the label for a new EP. Sitting as one of Colombia's premiere progressive house talents, David Barragan aka Dabeat has enjoyed a steady rise since first emerging in 2008 with a release courtesy of Beatfreak Recordings. The next decade saw David perfect his craft with a sound that many describe as groovy, dynamic and emotional. Now laying claim to an impressive discography, the Santiago de Cali resident has showcased his music via Anjunadeep, Mango Alley, Plattenbank, Proton, Replug and Sudbeat, while continuing to receive play and support from the genre's premiere tastemakers. Also a primary contributor to Clubsonica, Dabeat has recorded six remixes for the Colombian imprint across a five-year stretch, beginning with his label debut in 2018. Now, following a well-received debut for Global Underground to begin the year, Dabeat returns to Clubsonica for his first artist EP entitled 'Vesta | Evolving', alongside remixes from Rauschhaus and Sean & Dee.

Selection one finds Dabeat paired with occasional studio partner, fellow countryman and progressive house star Kamilo Sanclemente. Together the duo have been responsible for some of the genre's most memorable tracks, most recently delivering their 'Floating' collaboration for Global Underground to begin 2024. Also paired previously for Clubsonica, the duo continue their creative partnership for the label in fine fashion with 'Vesta'. Here, Dabeat and Kamilo masterfully synthesize their talents while breaking down boundaries to serve up a melting pot of inspired progressive house. Its pneumatic energy turns over quickly, flowing through a maze of mutated electronics and fiery rhythmic fractures, before reaching a hyperspeed collision of sonics for the ultimate high-octane drop and grooved out finale.
