This is another old track from 2003, formally known as 'Computeraided Warcraft' (working title). This Version is a re-edit with some additional instruments and some changed VST´s. The mastering is still a bit crappy. Hope you like it anyway...

I composed this track after seeing the news of the american invasion in Iraq, looking at the pictures of so called 'surgical warfare' and computeraided attacks with all the disastrous results and all the civilian casulties.

Now all of this will happen again in Syria, for sure.... Let us hope that the actual conflict will not set the whole region on fire....

Media Blackout welcomes Barcelona based duo Boysinadisco with their latest release, a cover of the classic Tears for Fears song 'Shout' featuring Claude van Drum, with remixes from Medsound, Rafael Lambert and Tony Handle.

The upcoming duo has been a regular in many top artist playlists, constantly showcasing their huge originality and versatility without ever disappointing. Their affair with sound "through heart, hands and computer tools" has led to a raft of successful releases and remixes, and this is no exception. Part deep house, part driving four to the floor house; his remix of is ode to house music that creates a mood that's perfect for any dance-floor.

The first remix comes from none other than Media Blackout all-star Medsound, who to people in the known is a true master of the craft. He drops a stunning remix of 'Shout!' a modern beach house jam with all the right elements. The bouncy bass and great synth arrangements create a sexy, provocative atmosphere while the vocals make words settle in truly magical fashion, creating a warm felt atmosphere that creates special memories every time you listen to it.

Next up we have Rafael Lambert make a welcome return to the label, this time around he teamed up with partner in crime Tony Handle. The guys deliver a remix which focuses on the melodic side, by cleverly chopping the beats and vocal for the opening part oft he track to create a moody and emotional vibe, which in combination with some swinging drums half way thru establishes so much positive energy that it takes you right to any happening island house club at sunset in the world, emphasizing the vast musical spectrum this release has on offer.

Siraiva (@siraiva) ft. PipaMoran (@pipamoran) come together for their first release on Media Blackout with a vibed out sonic love story titled ‘Chance’. Together, that have crafted a song that instantly pays off on first listen, but delivers in new ways every time you hear it. Pipa Moran has a uniquely R&B flavor to her vocals that melt effortlessly into the nu-disco sensibility that Siraiva brings to his music.

Douze (@_douze) is Arnault Douze Esteve, a young French producer. First discovered by Kris Menace, he would later become the protégé of the German producer. Their collaboration led on to several tracks produced together on Kris's "Idiosyncrasies" first album followed by a handful of EPs. To this day, Kris and Douze continue to work together - with Douze appearing on Menace’s albums “Features” and forthcoming project “Sun, Moon & Stars” in collaboration with Simon Lord. Following this, Douze worked with another titan of the French house music scene, Alan Braxe, the results of which are still under lock and key in Braxe’s own production vault.
