Feeble hands holding tight 
A bundle of light 

Oh the spark 
The flashing light 
How it burned 
As she held her hands 

The stove The brass 
The Gleaming pots and pans 
A vision from above
 A place for our love

Yearning for warm delight 
There she stood with the burnt match 

In despair she held her breath 
And took another glare

From the light, 
a golden shine
Dear granny 
held her hand

In despair, she pleaded to her
And struck her last few flares

In her arms
Newfound warmth
Radiant joy
Heavenly cries

And at dawn
Everyone came to fawn
There she laid
Covered in the flakes 
Cold and calm 
The matches in her hand
And so it ends
her spirit gone to bed
