We're happy to welcome the debut EP from @biota_official

BIOTA represents the symbiotic coexistence of flora & fauna, bridging ancient & modern, utilizing contrast to create colorful diversity. 
Their journey is exploration of sound and movement, driven by aesthetics of sound art, cinematic atmosphere, psychedelia and the gritty roots of blues and rock&roll.

In Sistema Organico, the Israelian duo Roman Galperin & Moses Chimen deliver a variety of sonic textures, from spacey feedback guitars through tasty analog synths, forest flutes, traditional percussion, shamanic vibes and more delights - all composed into musical moods to dive into.

The whole piece is inspired by the meditative depths of the natural world, a tribute to the forest, the jungle, the great rivers and thoughts about our relationship with them as human beings.

This mantra is to ask lord Shiva (God of destruction but also of transformation) for health. You pray for health to him, to avoid illness or death; but it can also be asked on a spiritual way, looking for evolution of your spirit, to a higher state.

Since 1409, thousands of monks (of the three main monasteries of Drepung, Sera and Ganden) gathered for chanting prayers and performing religious rituals at the Jokhang Temple in Lhasa.

"The main purpose of the Great Prayer Festival is to pray for the long life of all the holy Gurus of all traditions, for the survival and spreading of the Dharma in the minds of all sentient beings, and for world peace. The communal prayers, offered with strong faith and devotion, help to overcome obstacles to peace and generate conducive conditions for everyone to live in harmony."

La génesis de un ideal patrio, de la construcción de una identidad que para forjarse y emerger necesita símbolos y enemigos. En Argentina, el avance de la civilización procuró el retroceso de una barbarie constituida por indios, negros y personas que se encontraban en lo más bajo de la pirámide de castas. Las palabras de Domingo Faustino Sarmiento en su Facundo y los arrasantes malones de los indios de la Pampa y la Patagonia fundieron el barro donde la historia echó raíces.

Silvio Astier explora el territorio del olvido, de lo sepultado. Se zambulle en el milagro de la trascendencia popular para contemplar la hondura de una Pampa que pareciera mantener en silencio su secreto milenario que alguna vez rascaron payadores y trovadores.
