Opening your dance music account with a remix of one our all time absolute faves is never a bad place to start. 

Psychemagik's vinyl re-edit of  Fleetwood Mac's 'Everywhere' at the end of 2010 not only worked its way into the bags of veterans such as Greg Wilson and Tom Middleton, it etched their names into the consciousness of clubbers (old and new) awake to fresh, funk-laden forms of disco-inflected deep house.

Ever since, it's been plain sailing for a partnership from the UK who've committed a string of re-edits onto their eponymous imprint as well as taking remix credit for the likes of Azari & III, Metronomy and Crystal Fighters. It wasn't long until productions from scratch began to appear, their inaugural Crosstown Rebels release 'Black Noir Schwarz' surfacing with Tensnake and Mineo remixes in February of this year.

But, perhaps, it's the duo's DJ sets that've benefited them most. Throwing together everything from vintage disco to Chicago house classic and more stripped back fodder, they're crate-digging wit has earned them life-long memories at summer festivals and sunset boat parties all over. This diverse collection of acid-inspired house is a prime example of why.

Upgrade- Power Of The Mind

Tomonori Ozawa aka The Wa was born in Japan in 1974, dove into the world of psytrance in 2006 at the legendary club Mazel in Roppongi Tokyo. After checking out the club scene, he decided that it wasn't the time to put DJing first on his commitments due to the degrading psytrance scene. 
In 2012, he started to create mixes again and the positive responses that came from over 500 followers around the globe, rejuvenated the thirst to DJ again. 
At the moment, still an inexperienced DJ on the floor, but by mixing and selecting of the right tracks shared on Soundcloud, gained confidence. Selecting the special specific sounds to be listened to. 
In 2014, he has elected among the winners of Competition DJs StereOrganic & Artists, became a part of the team StereOrganic France that represent them. Right now, he moving forward to start own label in Taiwan within three years and spread the vibe throughout the Eastern Asia scene.

Iono Music series continues with a conversation with Protonica which will be followed by and excluisve mix.

Protonica are Piet Kaempfer and Ralf Dietze from Berlin (Germany). With Piet’s intuition for harmonies as a skilled pianist and certified sound designer Ralf’s feeling for propulsive grooves, Protonica deliver you their very own positive pulsing sound – a blend of psychedelic and progressive trance. The “Refresh / Northern Storm EP” from 2010 was certainly an important milestone and the breakthrough for the duo. In 2012 Protonica releases the second album “Form Follows Function” another masterpiece after their debut album “Search” from 2007.
With their energetic live sets Protonica have already contributed to making events a sucess all over the world, amongst others Universo Paralello (Brazil), Rainbow Serpent (Australia), Ozora Festival (Hungary), Fusion Festival (Germany), Ilo Festival (Mexico), Groove Attack (Israel) and Boom Festival (Portugal).
Ralf and Piet share extensive experience in DJing for more than a decade, too. Together they have also formed the progressive house/techno side project “Kaempfer & Dietze”.

'Altered Senses' is an impassioned emotional journal lavished with a rich uplifting melody, fleeting atmospheres, and an undeniably fabulous groove. This is high-spirited, graceful, yet modest uplifting trance.

Meeting you on the flipside is Synthetic Vs Valys with a gorgeous chic approach on their mix. Deedrah pulls out the cannons and delivers a banging psy take with his remix.

A full power psychedelic trip, Moon Tripper's new EP "Belantara" features 2 dust-raising monsters! The title track is a groovy ode to a magical spot in the Malaysian rainforest where a gathering of like-minded psychedelic travellers gather every year - a forest-tinged daytime blaster, the track is positively teeming with creeping psychosomatic equatorial jungle arthropods and is set to embroil the dancefloor in its dense canopy of modulated synth-lianas. "Groovy Doobie" is a good-vibes smile-inducing psychotropic concoction in which layer-upon-layer of squelchy organic goodness coalesce to fry the listener's brain.

Greetings whirlers! We are delighted to announce the upcoming release of Samaa Records by our very own "Hypnoia".
 
This digital EP contains three trippy groovy tracks filled with ethnic elements and atmospheres; creating a sound saga ideal for a hyper-active crowd on raging dance floors; while at the same time manifesting Hypnoia's frequencies which drives from their lineage.
