Is a genre important, if yes, then the music genre finder tells me this track is a mix of progressive house and progressive breaks with a slight ambient vibe.
I don't know if that makes sense, you should decide that. All I know is that I made it, I dig it, I hope you dig it, and if you ask me, the chimey strings have a mildly oriental flavour.

'Consumer of Life' is a remix of 'Personal Shopper', by Steven Wilson. The track features a new composition recorded and produced by 'Post Truth Society', over the original drum and fx stems. On completion of the music, a couple of short vocal samples were added, to provide a more satisfactory chorus. I have tried to be sympathetic to the new 'The Future Bites' aesthetic, and a new Steven Wilson verse vocal would make the track complete!
