Sunscreen Scenes #03 - “doing something illegal” w/ Sunscreen Serenity - 04.08.2024

"Boca Na Água" emerges as a connecting point between Brazilian culture and the current electronic music scene. The track, already tested on major stages such as Ritual Stage at Surreal Park, B.O.M.A, Colmeia at Green Valley, Tetto Rooftop, and others, features excerpts from the iconic Rita Lee, a figure who transformed Brazilian music since the late 1970s.

The vocals, rescued from "Mania de Você" (1979), bear the mark of a time when Rita expanded her aesthetic, approaching pop and disco, without abandoning the boldness that made her famous. By inserting it into an electronic context, the production not only pays homage but also reopens this gesture of rupture and freedom.

The result is a track that escapes predictability: Brazilian in essence, global in reach. "Boca Na Água" asserts itself as a work that doesn't repeat formulas, but rather clearly weaves memory and the present.

My take on Panama & Tinlicker – Fade Into Black.
Wanted to keep the emotion of the original, but make it move a bit more — deeper groove, warmer flow, and space to get lost in.

It’s the kind of track for late nights or long drives when everything just fades into sound.
