In 1971, Ciaran Mahoney released one of his greatest cult classics of a generation: The Synthetic Tick. Though critically panned for it's less-than-stellar practical effects and disjointed narrative, diehard fans gravitated towards its lo-fi aesthetic innovative take on the body-switching genre nonetheless.

Its score was reportedly created in just 27 days by an unnamed friend of Mahoney. It relies heavily on dark synths tones and sporadic arpeggiations to give it a sense of urgency.
