Moot gives you the Boz Scaggs Lowdown.
Since the original kinda copped "Family Affair" at the end, I went ahead and took it there too.
I also threw in some "Bennie & The Jets" at the end.
The rhythm guitar is a tribute to Nile Rodgers (aka the best rhythm guitarist of all time).
The drum sound is me trying to cop the sound of MJ's Off The Wall record. 

My idea of a good cover is throwing elements of several different songs or artists into the mix.

Rhodes Suitcase 73 into AmpliTube 3 JC-120 model with Fender Phaser and Leslie 147. 
DeArmond S73 guitar into AmpliTube 3 w/Fender Deluxe model (lead) and JC-120 model (rhythm).
Yamaha BB450 bass with Thomastik-Infield Jazz Bass flatwound strings.
1978 Rogers XP-8 drums with 1965 Powertone snare and vintage Zildjian A cymbals.
Trumpet and flute courtesy of SampleTank 2 and SampleTron.
Other sounds made by Synthesizers.com modular analogue synthesizer.
Vocals recorded on an AKG C1000 mic.

Synth #1: .com sequenced by Korg SQ-1 sequencer, transposed by keyboard #1. Uses Q150 "Moog" filter.
Synth #2: .com played via keyboard #2. Uses Q107 State Variable filter.
Synth #3: ARP Odyssey. Really showing off the duophonic capabilities of this synth.
Pad: Native Instruments Absynth.
Strings: Sampled Oberheim Matrix-12.
Drums and percussion: Logic Ultrabeat.
Hi-hat: live played Zildjian hi hat.

Here's my take on the Stylistics classic "People Make The World Go Round" written by Thom Bell and Linda Creed. 

I've always loved this tune and wanted to do something a little different with it rhythmically...Lots of little time signature changes in here. 
I decided to go with my sampled Rhodes rather than the real one because I like the way it "speaks".

In the video, performer Yago de Quay is featured using RealSense cameras and Curie-enabled wristbands that track hand gestures and location and use that data to control music and visuals. A project that took 3 months of working with Intel to develop unique wristbands, gesture algorithms, radio transmission, music, visuals and dance. At CES 2016, audience members were invited to use their Curie wristbands to contribute musically to the performance.
