Monday - Intentions (2024) (single)

"Intentions” é o nome da nova canção de Monday, o segundo single do álbum “Underwater, feels like eternity”, a ser editado a 3 de maio de 2024 com o selo Lay Down Recordings.

Produzida pela própria Monday, e com produção adicional de Ricardo Nagy (Vaarwell), a canção mergulha os ouvintes num ambiente noturno melancólico, caracterizado por um baixo profundo e batidas rítmicas que complementam a voz pop da artista.
Infundida com melodias que parecem vir de uma banda sonora de James Bond, a canção desenrola-se de forma cinematográfica, oferecendo uma fuga musical de um cativeiro emocional.

Acompanhado por um videoclipe filmado em Londres e realizado por André Tentugal e Le Joy, “Intentions” surge como um hino de força para aqueles que estão à beira da libertação, prontos para recuperarem a sua vida.

Com traços folk e pop, inspirada pelas estórias e vozes femininas de artistas como Laura Marling e Bess Atwell, Monday mergulha nesta nesta nova fase de composição também como produtora das suas próprias canções. “Underwater, feels like eternity” é o primeiro álbum em que a artista está encarregue da produção.

O disco é lançado a 3 de maio de 2024, com o selo da editora lisboeta Lay Down Recordings.

Cold Rain And Snow has been a popular folk song for well over 100 years. It's traditional with an unknown origin but some date it to North Carolina in the 1870's.  We thought a blues rock take on it would be fun!
