Portugese producer Raez proved his ability to flip soul samples and turn them into laid back Hip-Hop grooves on his submissions for the Roy Ayers Project compilation.

In 2013 the Oporto-based beatsmith released his full-length "Connecting Miles" album on Cosmonostro. Fast-forward to 2015, he is getting ready to release his forthcoming "Remixing Miles" on Cosmonostro.

One of his most current collaborations he asks, Darker Than Wax affiliate Neguim Beats from Brazil to rework André DePriest's original version of "In This Life" (which Raez produced).

Born and raised in The Netherlands, producer Beatsofreen has gained major attention by releasing his first well-received beattape “Future Memories” back in 2011 at the age of 17. 
After a successful collaboration (Global Soul EP) with Medaforacle (USA), he was signed to the Darker Than Wax family, celebrating his new EP “Coloured Dreams” (2013), a little tribute to the late & great J Dilla. With his alterego Stan Forebee , Beatsofreen also creates more jazz-orientated beats, and most recently landed himself a feature on Okayplayer for his remix of Flying Lotus' 'Siren song'.

The process that led to ‘Dimensions EP’ engaged different sides of him as a well-rounded artist – growing as his music developed from straight Dilla-minded beats to more electronic songs.

He approached this first as a musician, and then a producer – working with less samples and recording live acoustic instruments – something which has always been part of work for film and radio but was never included in personal production own music, until this project.

While creating this EP had the intention of an electronic influence, it is balanced off by an earthy jazz element – he began to delve more into the acoustic-folk sound and songwriting.

The Dimensions EP is about bringing these different elements together. It stands for seeing things from new perspectives, for experiencing life's diversity. Everything is possible: it's all around you; inside, on the outside. You just have to find the dimensions, take the walls down, and bloom.

Corner Sofa Bed EP to drugie w katalogu wydawnictwo młodego labelu i kolektywu artystycznego regime brigade. Po debiutanckim Last Ceremony EP Nativizma i jego piekielnym, technicznym uderzeniu - grupa prezentuje swoją beatową sekcję producencką. Materiał zawiera pięć wyjątkowych utworów przygotowanych przez następujących muzyków: Jaq Merner, Matt Peanut, Heisenbergs, HVZX, Rodas oraz Baby Meelo. 

Duet HVZX w dużej mierze odpowiedzialny za brzmienie obecnego, niezależnego rapowania w Polsce zaprezentował lekką w odbiorze fuzję cloud rapu i instrumentalnego hip-hopu. Zadymiona atmosfera, przytulna przestrzeń i charakterystyczny feeling w "Tiramisu" to znak wyróżniający sound HVZX. 

W numerze beatmakera podpisującego się jako Rodas - jedyny w swoim rodzaju klimat teksańskiego hip-hopu spotyka się z wibrującym, rozśpiewanym samplingiem i selekcją dźwięków współczesnej sceny beatowej. Od surowego, spowolnionego sampla wokalnego po miękkie, wakacyjne sekcje – "Low Key" czaruje każdym swoim elementem i nie pozwala opuścić głowy słuchacza. 

Nostalgiczna kompozycja Baby Meelo pt. "Heartmelt" odnosi się do brytyjskiego brzmienia lat 90-tych. Kolaż drum & bassowej palety, footworkowego tempa, jungle'owych układów perkusyjnych i hip-hopowej rytmiki stworzył spójny obraz muzyki basowej w niemalże ambientowym wydaniu. 

Jaq Merner i Matt Peanut ponownie połączyli siły tworząc przebojowy numer inspirowany nowoczesnym r&b i hip-hopem. W "Gunz" efekty wokalne rodem z kompozycji Kanye Westa czy Young Thuga sparowane są z triumfalnym, trapowym brzmieniem, składając się w niespotykany na naszym rynku niezwykle aktualny hit. 

Tracklistę zamyka "Suego" od znanego z kompilacji FLIRTINI duetu Heisenbergs. To kolejna, spektakularna wycieczka producentów w kierunku skrzyżowania ścieżek pomiędzy klasycznymi fundamentami funku i nowoczesnymi, future bassowymi brzmieniami. To Słoneczny vibe, taneczna rytmika, charyzmatyczna trąbka i niewiarygodna praca z samplem.
