One Track Minds is a band from Trondheim, Norway’s third largest city and a hub for Central Norway’s music scene, with a long history of producing exciting bands. One Track Minds was formed in the winter of 2015, centered around the songs of Jon Reier Sylte. This year the band will release their debut album, «A Price to be Paid», on the newly formed label Brygga Records. The label stems from one of Trondheim’s most legendary recording facilities, Brygga Studio. The album will be their first release. 

The music is inspired by modern noise structures and classic pop melodies, posed in front of a backdrop of dark, bitter-sweet psychedelic ambience and seething guitars. Thick soundscapes and walls of sound drowning in consciousness altering marathons creates an interesting mix of mind and body engagement. Although melting several genres and influences into one, the main focus has always been the lyrical and melodic aspects. One Track Minds have members with a long track record from the city’s vibrant music scene. 

Dead End Boys is their latest release and it dropped in 2021

Playing a mix of US, European and UK techno and electro since way back in the 90's, London-based Pat Hurley got his first gigs with People 4 People sound system and gone on to play for Unsound, Shtonka, Hardware, The Satellite club, Insanity, Defcom 1, Pendulum, Parallel Youniversity, Megatripolis, Analogue City, Absolute, Redeye, E1 sound, One Louder, Uber, Mindscapes, Techno in the City, Fabric, KSS, Family Groove, Butterfly Effect, Electronic 17, Resonate, Futurist and Cargo, as well as co-promoting events such as Solution, Beyond and pistonTec.

He’s also played all around the UK including the Glastonbury festival and abroad in France, Holland, Italy, Spain and Japan. 

He runs the Open Source record label, on which he releases his own productions as well as tracks from artists such as Orlando Voorn, Mike Humphries, Jeff Amadeus and many others
