You are here in a land unimaginably different from yours, yet as you walk in their footsteps, you are hit with a stirring sense of unexpected nostalgia for a place you have never been. Embraced by the warmth of the rain, glimpses of the past flood your mind, transporting you to a place beyond time. As the world shapes itself around you, you draw parallels between this world and yours, realizing why you are here. Eien's story lives on in you, in the heart of the music.

I reworked my chilled out track "My Lonely Mountain" into a more beat driven track giving it a more Trip Hop feel to it. Been wanting to do this for a while, as the original track was kind of too dreamy and mellow. I kept hearing this version in my head so I had to get it done and after a few sleepless nights in my studio, here it is.

Originally from Winnipeg, Jeff Riel played guitar in several bands before moving to British Columbia in 2012. He has since become a solo artist and started producing, further expanding his sound to incorporate electronic elements. His live sets create a relaxed atmosphere but can be wildly psychedelic to those paying attention. His tracks are completely original and blend a unique style of spacey, downtempo beats, smoked out grooves, and layers of dreamy guitar riffs, all wrapped up into this project known as More Like Space.
