"Nací en Cartagena de Indias (Colombia) junto al mar. La música ha sido lo primero en vida, va conmigo a todo lado, siempre está ahí sonando y sonando en mi cabeza. Soy un artista que va a favor del cambio para seguir creando, experimentar es fundamental para innovar, para crear lo nuevo".

Simón O'Neill es un músico, compositor, productor y artista audiovisual colombiano, quien en 2016 después de pertenecer a la banda de rock alternativo Mamá Roxanna, lanza "El Golpe Avisa" su primer disco en solitario. Los sintetizadores ácidos al ritmo de cumbia, chandé, puya, porro, bullerengue, y las melodías pegadizas de sus letras son el sonido característico de este trabajo discográfico. Es meditar, es conectarse, es elevar el espíritu en la danza y el éxtasis. 

En la actualidad se encuentra promocionando su segundo álbum de estudio, un viaje cinematográfico en donde se destaca "La Medicina Sagrada", elixir sanador que nos lleva a la selva y sus diversos seres. En este trabajo regresan el funk, el rock psicodélico, el reggae, el disco, el jazz; géneros que marcaron la vida musical del artista en el pasado, y que hoy en día combina con cumbia y música electrónica. Sin duda, un viaje marciano cumbiero.
