With their driving and sinister music the aspiring swiss producer- and dj-duo „Rex & Dux“ catapult the audience back to the ancient world. Their latin name which translates to „Sovereign & Leader“ mirrors their artistic association to the Holy Roman Empire and its widespread orgies and excesses. Influences of the ancient world can’t just be seen in their excessive lifestyle and the matching music but also in the discipline and relentlessness of their musical implementation of this lifestyle - in this sense: Let the games begin!

Das aufstrebende Ostschweizer Produzenten- und DJ-Duo «Rex & Dux» katapultiert die Zuhörerinnen und Zuhörer mit ihrer treibenden und düsteren Musik zurück in die Zeit der Antike. Mit dem lateinischen Namen welcher zu Deutsch soviel wie «Herrscher & Führer» bedeutet untermalen sie ihre künstlerische Verbindung zum Römischen Reich und den dort weit verbreiteten Orgien und Exzessen. Einflüsse aus der Antike lassen sich jedoch nicht nur im ausschweifenden Lebensstil und der dazu passenden Musik finden, sondern auch in der Disziplin und Unnachgiebigkeit der musikalischen Umsetzung dieses Lebensstils – in diesem Sinne: Lasset die Spiele beginnen!
