Shamans of Sound hail from Washington, DC and out of the depths of the pandemic crisis comes the brand new heavyweight sound of Pressure Dub. Recorded live in the studio by the 7-piece Shamans of Sound backing band, this one rolls out like a live dub jam. The group enlisted the talents of Alpha Steppa to mix and master the track, and it comes through in full range & wide spectrum! Add some very mystical and spooky artwork by Collage The World and the whole package comes together nicely. In times of inflation, uncertainty and global crises, Pressure Dub is right on time to release some of that pent-up tension....

Pressure Dub

Incarner et chanter la femme africaine du futur. Éduquer. Transmettre sur les scènes internationales le matrimoine culturel et les traditions congolaises sur une musique inédite en Afrique. Les Mamans du Congo & Rrobin signent leur retour avec un EP et un nouvel album en 2023. 

Après le single Ntima, place au deuxième extrait de l'EP intitulé Sala Sala. Sala Sala signifie "travaille travaille" en lari. Dans ce titre, Gladys Samba et ses mamans incitent les jeunes congolais à travailler. Même s'il n'y a plus d'embauche, il faut créer ses propres emplois afin de s'émanciper et revenir aux sources. Ce titre incite au retour aux richesses du Congo Brazzaville et au travail de la terre.
