N-Type & Syxx have been friends now for a long time now. They first met through DJ Walsh (R.I.P) at N-Type’s event RUDE in Brixton in 2012 where Syxx first heard his tracks live in a dance. Then later Walsh signed Syxx to Biscuit Factory Records in 2014 where he released most of his early catalogue. N-Type & Syxx were meaning to get in the studio for years before but on the collation of the “Typography” Album, N-Type reached out to Syxx to get on a track. They started off by making five ideas and after a short pizza break and random conversation on who smashed it at Band Aid live 1986?? They both agreed they were blown over Queens performance and how Freddie Mercury smashed the crowd, they then jumped back in the studio and “Mercury” was born.

N-Type & Syxx – Mercury is set for release 7th November 2025, available on Digital and in a strictly limited Lathe Cut edition.

ADS1 - Fubar EP [12/12/2025]

ADS1 returns to Jah-Tek with the 'Fubar' EP - four tracks merging old-school weight and modern detail through deep resonances, refined drum sequencing and shadowed textures.

Opening the EP, 'Ganzfeld' sets the tone with pure sub momentum and intricate percussion rolling in unison - a salute to the heads and a clear nod to old-school flavour.

The title track 'Fubar' follows, winding and retracting with relentless energy as undercurrent bass and shuffle step percussion drive a volatile, entrancing motion.

'Void' comes next, opening up with looming tonality before dropping into warped space, as gliding sub pressure and subtle rasps intertwine with melodic arps, creating a deep spectral soundscape.

Bringing the release to a close, 'Breath' eases into a haunted sway, where misty tones, deep pulsing low-end, and delicate percussive touches fuse into an immersive final drift.

'Fubar' EP drops exclusively via Bandcamp on the 12th of December, followed by a full release on all platforms on the 19th.

This month on my Patreon i'm dropping a couple lost projects.

A lot of the time when im writing tracks i make a couple different versions & vibes to begin with, i very rarely finish them both however. I think with these i loved the vocal sample so much i had to do it.

V1 is definitely my pick of the two, stripped back and minimal roller.

V2 has a more high energy headbanger raggo vibe.
