My first instrument was the electric guitar. I used to spend countless hours standing in front of my Marshall stack, just feeling the physicality of the sound of sustained, distorted power chords. It rattled my bones. It was at once powerful and strangely calming. And I remembered how different intervals and multiphonics impacted my body variously. This piece seeks to reclaim that memory of those sounds.
