Rycott is Federico Gentile, born in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto, a small town in Sicily. He translates his private universe in a tangle of expressions that are not dictated by pure creative spirit and passion of his soul. His musical experiments summarize the constant striving for new sounds dedicated to those who want to be curious to know how many mistakes you can hide behind perfection , as in his debut album: Perfection is an error. No rules, just a few essential notes telling a trip through unexplored dimensions, lives not yet lived, chills that have not yet crossed the skin. His last work, Ikebana, is an EP released by White Forest Records on May 2013.

 L’attimo di profonda intimità che guida la riflessione e scatena l’istinto musicale attraverso sonorità, rumori e sensazioni inedite, è Rycott: quel fugace battito in cui le frequenze sonore corrono all’unisono con quelle del cuore e della mente, in cui la musica avvolge la sensibilità dell’ascoltatore creando una perfetta armonia tra suoni ed emozioni.
Rycott traduce il suo universo privato in un intreccio di espressioni che si evolvono mutevolmente senza vincoli o schemi che non siano dettati dal puro spirito creativo e passionale del suo animo. Nessuna regola, solo poche essenziali note che raccontano un viaggio in dimensioni non ancora esplorate, vite non ancora vissute, brividi che non hanno ancora percorso la pelle.
Le sperimentazioni musicali di Rycott riassumono la costante tensione verso nuove sonorità dedicate a chi sa essere curioso di conoscere quanti errori si possono nascondere dietro e dentro la perfezione, come nel suo album d’esordio: Perfection is an error.
Una fusione di elettronica, ambient, IDM e downtempo per un progetto che vuole suscitare la voglia di scoprire quale forma possono ancora assumere le emozioni.

'THEOFFICIALRAM' is an artist/producer/engineer with 16 years of digital production, audio engineering, and songwriting. In 2014 he kicked into the industry as he teamed up alongside artist ''Ransom Watson' . They released solo singles, eps, and joint projects as they opened up at multiple concerts all around Texas including Mala Luna Music Festival 2016, Fun Fun Fun Fest 2016, and more. RAM performed as both, Artist & DJ, while also playing the role of producer/engineer behind the scenes. He has worked on a number of projects with artist mostly across the central Texas Region with his most recent major label mixing credits being on 'Live at the Roxy ' , Griselda Records' own Boldy James project released in 2018. Since then, RAM has been releasing new music periodically and working as a audio engineer/producer.
