You Should Be Dancing" is a single by the Bee Gees, from the album Children of the World, released in 1976. It hit #1 for one week on the American Billboard Hot 100, #1 for seven weeks on the US Hot Dance Club Play chart, and in July the same year, reached #5 on the UK Singles Chart.[2] The song also peaked at #4 on the Billboard R&B chart. It was this song that first launched the Bee Gees into disco. It was also the only track from the group to top the dance chart.

The song was their third Billboard Hot 100 #1 and their sixth #1 in Canada. It ended up the year as the #31 song of the year on the Hot 100.[3] In the '70s some of the Bee Gees' songs were deemed too uptempo for AC/Easy Listening Radio which led to "You Should Be Dancing" only reaching #25 on that chart.[4] It also hit #4 in Ireland. In Australia, where the brothers spent a number of years in their youth, it managed only to nick the top 20.

David Joseph’s ‘You Can’t Hide (Your Love From Me)' is a track I’ll forever have a strong personal association with, given that it was with 2 copies of this 12" that I made my claim to fame as the 1st UK DJ to mix live on TV – on February 25th 1983 at Newcastle’s Tyne Tees TV studio, on the classic British music show, ‘The Tube’. Last April I was sent a link to an edit by Italian DJ Moplen™ and was, as you can imagine, intrigued when I saw what it was - David Joseph – ‘You Can't Hide (Your DUB From Me)’. Utilizing the Larry Levan mix (I’d used original UK twelves on The Tube, the Levan mix wouldn’t come until later, when the track went big in the NYC clubs), Moplen had done a fine job, but unfortunately I couldn’t play it. 

I replied to his mail, explaining that because of my connection to the track I would need the vocal in there at some point, otherwise the dancefloor might feel short changed. The whole dub vibe teases things up a treat, but the money shot of the song is a must for my own purposes. Moplen was getting a great reaction to the edit as it was, and rightly so – check it out here:

So, for my own personal use, I edited Moplen’s edit to incorporate the full vocal, and the resulting version became one of my big festival tracks of 2011, and something that’s appeared in a number of my live mixes.

Towards the end of 80s, French DJ and beat producer MORGASM began to develop an interest in the emerging scene of Dance & Groove music. After cutting his teeth practicing at local clubs in the west of France in the early 90s, it wasnt long before parisian's promoters and fans asked him to come and rock parties in the capital city with his energetic mixes. 

Years by years, he began to spin more extensively, touring all France, then Europe, North America/Canada, North Africa, Asia and South America. He played in respectfull places like: Por El Medio De La Calle Festival (Caracas), Cafe Del Mar (Ibiza), Blue Spirit (Seoul), E Concept (Medellin/Colombia), Mad, Arena (Switzerland), The Fridge, The Venue (UK), Pulp Mantion (Berlin), Mazzo, Remember (Amsterdam), Summer Of Love Festival, Cross Club, Acropolis (Czek Republic), Congreso, Ku, Vertigo (Spain), Queen, Rex Club, Nouveau Casino, Opa, Trabendo, Macumba, La Villa, l'Espace, La Laiterie (France) and hundreds more... 

A hard worker and self-described music addict, MORGASM started two music labels: Tacos Records (in 1998 - vinyls) and The House Of Love Records (in 2010 - digital) to produce his own tracks as well as those of other French artists at beginning, then. Many of his tracks from this era have been playlisted and supported by big international names, and appear on numerous compilations. 

An excellent editor and producer, he is highly respected for his trademark blend of remixes, bootlegs, and everything from 70's hits to actual sounds.
