Mary Magdalene was a prostitute who met Jesus early during His earthly ministry.   She found room on a cold dirty floor at Jesus' feet.  It was there she shed tears upon Jesus' feet, overtaken by her sinful lifestyle.  She then poured perfume on His feet and wiped it off using her long hair.  Long hair was worn outwardly by prostitutes in Jesus' day.  Here she worshipped the King of Kings on the floor.  Jesus forgave her and took note of her faith from the cold dirty floor.  She went on to become one of Jesus' most ardent followers.  She was there when they crucified Him, she was there when they took his lifeless body down, she was there when they put Him in the tomb and she was there when he appeared after His resurrection.
