This is a set containing recording sessions mostly recorded directly from the modular into the audio interface with minimal mixing and adding some reverb in Ableton Live.

Modular | Noodling and Droning

„musst“ ist eine Aneinanderreihung und Überlagerung von Befehlsformeln, deren Inhalt und Struktur mit dem Ort verwoben sind: Hier unten, weit unter der alltäglichen Wahrnehmungsgrenze, entfalten die verinnerlichten Zwänge und selbst auferlegten Pflichten erst ihre Wirkung. Mit vorwiegend dunklen Vokalen bewegen sich die geflüsterten Anweisungen auch in der Tiefe der sprachlichen Laute und am unteren Limit des Hörbaren. Der aufgenommene Text ist gemischt mit verfremdeten Bruchstücken. Die Verfremdung findet Anleihen in der Musique Concrète und streift auch den Bereich der Granularen Synthese. Gearbeitet wird mit modularen Synthesizern und Software. Die durch die Verfremdung enstehenden Schwingungen verstärken das zwanghafte Klangbild, das von den Befehlsformeln gemalt wird.

Recorded on a lazy saturday evening, that almost felt like sunday. With a carinthian sky full of stars ... totally forgot how much of these there are.
A nice piano sample in the Phonogene, a PEG tickeling the VCA fed by the Endorphin.es Furthrrrr Generator ... what a night.

Sunday Sinister

During our little trip to Carinthia we recorded this session. My friend ela_sand did all the rythmic stuff while I was responsible for the harmonic content of that piece. 
There has been massive use of TTA Z300, A-110, WMD GWS, Enorphin.es Furthrrrr Generator, Malekko/Wiard Borg 1, 4ms PEG, Make Noise Maths and lots more ...

This is just a little noodeling, checking the possibillities of my SympleSEQ in combination with the RCD an the Endorphin.es Furthrrrr Generator. The reverb comes from an DIY module containing an Alesis stereo fx chip (which was actually "monoed" again in the mixer ;-)).
