Performing live for decades, Toronto based DJ Producer, Amber Long, has trademarked a sound that is svelte and uniquely her own. Sought after globally and supported by big name artists like Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Aly & Fila, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, her lyrics, voice and productions are well known amongst the Underground Music Community. 
Passionate and animated, Amber is the living demonstration of an artist who loves her work and continually tears up dance floors across the world.  
Long broke into the international DJ scene playing at Ministry of Sound in London, followed with gigs in; Qatar, Greece, Netherlands, Israel, Argentina, USA, Mexico, Jamaica, and Spain. Amber’s live vocals at Ministry of Sound set her apart from other DJs on the scene as one of the only female producers to perform live vocals during a set. ADE 2016 and 2017 and in Buenos Aires were treated to this one of a kind performance her fans have come to know and love. Long sings live for what she deems special occasions. 
 
Aside from DJing globally, Amber Long runs Toronto-based independent labels; Modern Agenda, Modern Architect and Honey Drops – all brands that focus on giving back to their large roster of artists. Modern Agenda is rapidly becoming a go-to label for music lovers and artists alike and Honey Drops carries a different flavor, encouraging artists to share their ambient and down tempo creations.

Our next guest for meanwhile moments is our good friend Karl Pilbrow!
Referred to as "Melbourne's Guy J", Karl is one of Melboune's finest, it is a real pleasure to welcome him on board!

"Karl Pilbrow's passion and appreciation for music has been a lifelong affair. Originally coming from New Zealand, he moved to Melbourne in early 2012.

In the years following Karl began to experience the outdoor festival culture the city is renowned for, he could not help but fall in love with electronic music. This new-found affection took him to all parts of the globe, intent on learning more about the outdoor music culture, the communities involved, and most importantly… the music.

Fast forward to today and you’ll find one of the best exponents for Progressive House in Melbourne. Atmospheric, melodic, uplifting and groovy, Karl has dedicated himself to refining a sound that is true to himself and the music that inspires him.

In a career that only began three years ago Karl’s meteoric rise already seen many highlights. These include playing sunset on Sunset at Rainbow Serpent 2019, playing after Nick Warren (UK), warming up for Roger Martinez (NED), numerous sets at Burning Man 2017 and 2019 , performances at Babylon Festival and a residency with Melbourne outfit Coco Poco Loco.

Karl is also an integral part of community events company Wildwood, not only as a resident DJ but as an event manager and curator for @wildwoodpodcastseries. . This has produced the perfect creative outlet for both his music and his love for festival culture."

As a surprise @DepGlobe has made us a super warm and deep 4 hour set!! 👀🙊🔥4 hoursss!1!! This will definitely get us through these cold days. ⛄️🏝

But who is this guy? 😅  @buurmanvandalen tipped me about his friend which plays amazing music as well. 🙏 DepGlobe started his dj career 41 years ago. Along the years he grew from playing music at school break, recording mixes with tapedecks for friends (1982), and mid 90’s he bought his first turntables, and pioneered within the genres of club-house, trance and progressive. 🎶🌪🚀

In 2006 he made the shift to digital gear, and published his sets online. His sets gained even more traction, and from here he got a lot of gigs all over The Netherlands. 💫🐸 Nowadays you can find him in his own Facebook community: Dutch Progressive House, and hosting his radioshow at Frisky Radio with over 250.000 listeners 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, he creates festivals, you name it… 🤩🥳 But most importantly.. Now he’s just here especially for us! ❤️

Ian Dillon Live Sunset Sessions Jan 10th 2021

Hello and welcome aboard another Supersonic trip around Planet Prog, its Episode 47 of our Exclusive PFG Progcast!!

This week we're back in the UK, and a DJ born in Essex, before spending time in Liverpool, then heading back home. While in Liverpool he fully immersed himself in its club culture, history and music. Now he finds himself heading up a prominent Online Radio Station and producing fine podcasts for a queue of music groups eager to grab his services. Were glad to have grabbed him now, Ladies & Gent's give it up for Shaun Strudwick!


Shaun has been in love with progressive house music since the early 1990s. Having taken some time off during the 2000s to raise his family Shaun has since re-ignited his passion for hypnotic rhythms and enchanting melodies. 
In 2016 Shaun began curating his own deep progressive radio show called “Quarks & Quaaludes – an Epic House Journey” to showcase the music that he loves: deep melodic progressive vibes that move the mind, body, and soul.
The radio show has provided an amazing opportunity to connect with like-minded up and coming artists in the industry - and has featured many top talents who have since gone on to achieve even greater heights.

Shaun's passion & dedication to developing Saturo Sounds Radio as A&R manager has seen the station go from strength to strength in recent years - with the aquisition of many global artists alongside up and coming DJs & Producers.
Most recently Shaun has mixed the inaugural "Sounds Of Saturo" compilation - which has performed brilliantly in the Beatport sales charts. 
The release made the top 100 in 5 genres (3 in the top 10) & most impressively reached no. 73 in the overall releases chart - which is a huge credit to everyone involved with the release!
