The track plays out like a Hip-Hop version of Daft Punk's "Teachers," wherein the 'Word…Life' poet shouts out a number of influential forces who have blessed the wheels of steel over the years. Whereas any new jack can quickly get nice on Serato, auto sync some tracks, and call themselves a DJ, the duo take things back to a time where your credibility on the wheels and the m.i.c. was everything. "Turn The Tables" is the first single from DJ JS-1's 'It Is What It Isn't LP,' which drops next Tuesday (10/14). CLONETHEKID - Misbehave (prod.Angel)

Here we have a very rare remix we did of the 'Advancements' tune we did with Blu Rum 13 back in 2008 on our 'The Hip Hop EP' released on our 777 label. The EP also featured DJ Format, DJ Woody and a great singer called Melanie Jane.

This version I dont think ever saw the light of day but I have dug it out recently as it samples one of my all time favourite ever Jungle Tecno tunes from 1991 called 'Free Your Mind' by Fozbee & Cooz. The tune was on the Psychology EP, released on Another Planet Records.

I have uploaded this as I am now working on reissuing early jungle tunes that need to see the light of day again on vinyl. The reissue label I am running is called Vinyl Fanatiks, so if you fancy grabbing some mega rare reissues of some total classics, please keep an eye on my Facebook (Brent Aquasky) or the Aquasky twitter feed.
