I have been writing songs since…well always. When I was a little girl I sang. It didn’t matter what the words were, I sang about the sun and the rain and god…not knowing what any of it meant.  It really was just pure expression, pure love.  At a certain point that stopped being natural, I got scared and had feelings of being judged and I had to relearn to let my voice out.  Now I try to get out of my own way and let the music move through me, let my self dissolve into the expression. I am continually surprised by what comes out. I love to look out as I sing to people – to feel connected and to let them feel their own connection to the words and music and their own hearts. I love to time travel back to a moment in time and know that it will always be a part of me.
