The track "Be Happy" by the legendary Mary J. Blige is one that touched me personally and stood out to me both in terms of message and rhythm. Mary is impressive to me because she carries the swing of her music with her voice primarily instead of relying on the percussion. I took that very same concept and flipped it back on to myself; I let Mary's vocals guide my production at 93bpm, and this is what came out. Enjoy!
