Atmosphere Festival 2023

This Techsafari episode features ARHETIP. Arhetip is a progressive psytrance project established by Jovan Nikolic and Milan Djumic from Belgrade, Serbia. These childhood friends decided to embark on a new musical voyage in 2012 after years of DJing and working together on their other project ''Silver Sun''. It came as no surprise that shortly after their debut EP release for Synergetic Records came to light in 2012, they managed to grab the attention of various labels like Tesseract Studio, Iono music, TechSafari, Digital OM, Yellow Sunshine Explosion, Plusquam, Digital Nature, etc. In addition to numerous releases and performances at festivals and venues worldwide, they have also released two studio albums. Their debut album ‘The Absolute’ was released in late 2015 on TesseracTstudio records and represented a significant milestone for the duo. In December 2021, the duo joined the Canadian label TechSafari Records, and their second studio album "Reflection" was released in March 2022. Recognizable by their DJ sets as well as their original music, the duo is focused on creating their distinctive signature sound by combining their extensive production skills and DJ experience into the creative process.

"I've been seduced by many different electronic music genres growing up, but in the early 2010s I solidified my love for trance and then got into the world of goa parties. I love listening to it, I love playing it, I love feeling it. I'm mostly into melodic fullons and progressive but melodic music. 

When I'm not making music, I'm researching the human mind and behaviour as a psychologist. Science tells us that the collective experience of consciousness that we can have on the dance floor synchronises our body and mind in such a way that we feel very good together!  I trust science, and you can trust me!"

O que me inspira? Essa é a pergunta desta série aqui no canal. Serão uma série de DJ Sets, no qual vou trazer playlists com músicas e estilos que me inspiraram a criar minha música, e que ainda hoje tenho como influencia.

#02: esse DJ Set, são musicas que toquei em muitas apresentações minhas como DJ Set de 2009 a 2014, muito antes de pensar em compor minhas músicas. Músicas que me inspiraram profundamente a compor minhas própria sonoridade desde que iniciei meu projeto em 2015.

What inspires me? That's the question for this series here on the channel. They will be a series of DJ Sets, which I will bring playlists with songs and styles that inspired me to create my music, and that I still have as an influence today.
