Over the last few years, JP based Mi Chan has risen to new hights in electronic dance music.more... click to collapse contents At the age of 21 years old he is already in the artist list of trance producers and peformers and now his music has attracted listeners from so many other genres that it is almost impossibe to label him from any scene.. Originaly listening to old rave music at the age of 10, Mi Chan has grown up in the dance music scene since. Playing his fisrt DJ set in Tokyo Japan and the underground london parties as DJ Aku. Over the years of listening to so much electronic music it has given DJ Aku an open minded view of the whole electronic scene. In 2010 DJ Aku was launched, and now it was time for the production side of things.

DISC – District of Screen Composers is a cultural and educational enterprise centering on the music field, consisting of talented and ambitious young musicians, with the common purpose of creating, adapting and mastering a wide variety of audio products. We create original scores for video format, events, activations, presentations, we organize theme concerts, workshops and creation masterclasses. 
We are an incubator for young talents, by operating as both a vehicle for the community and a catalyst, encouraging students and youngsters with artistic/musical potential to focus attention and resources towards the field and guaranteeing them access to a set of specialized tools, expertise, guidance and the opportunity to start work in a professional, albeit cosy, environment.
Our main goal is to become a household name on the audio-cultural market, all the while making a positive impact on the local youth through workshops, projects and collaborations and, at the same time, initiate and take part in various cultural programs aiming to bring added value to the community.

I’ve only played vinyl but I’m away to buy digital as it’s the way forward even though I think anyone can do digital , TECHNICS MK 2 you needed skills to beat match and read a record . So hopefully you will hear me back in clubs soon .Used to play regular  in the 90’s - 2000.
