Being welcomed into the roster for the fourteenth EP titled Ten Four is Berlin-based Ray Kajioka who is a key figure on Heiko Laux’s Kanzleramt imprint and he can also be found remixing Pan-Pot, Truncate, Alexander Kowalski and many other leading artists.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the track “SEM Jam” that brings out his tougher production side. A rolling, abstract modular sounding melody and thick kick fire this one immediately into the stratosphere. Additional, haunting synth lines take it to a whole new level and the picture of perfection is there to marvel at as Ray never ceases to amaze.

Unique and mesmerising deep techno from Magna Pia

Huseyin Evirgen returns to @soma for his 4th solo release under his Magna Pia alias with the stunningly constructed "Tocharian" EP. The classically trained musician always delivers heart & soul throughout his Magna Pia releases, taking the listener on a journey with every track.

Tocharian Sex swells with resonating and staccato synths hooks that guide you through swirling, glacial tones and shimmering percussion. Prester John leads with reverberating bells like tones than intensify throughout and once again, magna Pia’s delicate percussive elements work in tandem beautifully. Ur-David delivers a sinister tone and unnerving synths drone and swell, melding together in a unearthly cacophony. Closing out the EP is the minimalistic and hypnotically elemental The Beauty Of Loulan. Modulating synths give grace and sway as beautifully crafted drones and undertones bring an epic finality to this closing piece
