This is the devellopment of January Dream - La Main. Drawing inspiration from a dream of a hand stretching to its limits in a bid to reach the unreachable, only to grow increasingly weak. Ultimately, the hand closes to recuperate its strength.

Balancing Act

Part of my development as a jazz/latin jazz musician has included a load of knowledge about Afro-Cuban rhythms and Puerto Rican folk styles, as well as a general musical influence, that provided me with the tools to write organic music and connect even more with my own culture despite the distance. This tune blends all those elements into one treasure that has no comparison with anything else in life: identity.
