Strangers

This is something I tried to compose for the birthday of my lovely Monia. Every human being has two sides: the side that we can see, and the one that we cannot. The transparent side that thoughts and dreams exist within.

This a song which means very much to me. How can we become a more compassionate world  helping the poor, those living in poverty and the homeless. Chorus who did the Remaster and Production just spontaneously added some vocals and just like that a vocal collaboration.  The image provides a portrait of the sadness and despair suffered buy many in the US and around the world.

Miami Jeff (Jimmy) another friend here on Soundcloud has agreed to create a YouTube video for this song to help reach a larger audience with the message since visual images are even more powerful than words.

Hope is in the air — a wind that is fierce enough to lift kites and rattle wind chimes, but gentle enough to free specks caught in a spider’s web. To become windswept is to go with the flow, keeping faith in a good future, and to do what you know to do to make hope come alive.

Windswept

I was really impressed by the novel The Paul Street Boys,  what hit me is the profound sense of duty and sacrifice by Nemecsek a boy who apparently  seems to be weak and not reliable to contribute to win a battle, and despite the battle victory everyone lose. I have tried to imagine the feeling of Nemecsek and his fighting against disease  together with the strong will to win and redeem the "Fatherland". It points out important moral issue about futility of war.

Deep down I didn't even mind

where I could safely indulge in idleness
without anyone pointing it out to me
renouncing any form of activeness

On the other hand I kept working

One day I thought: why not learn to play the piano?
It takes time and effort, maybe is better the ping pong

But a night while yawning I'm surfing the net
I read about these new programmes, I read about AI
they say that this is quite a little something
without be a hard set
what a beautiful perspective, so eye-catching!
you could write songs 
without even knowing how to do it
make everyone listen to all them 
while you sit in your armchair

That was it, now I ride the wave
I signed up on different platforms
I don't have to use my name
I'm me but I'm not me

I produce several songs a day
have thousands of followers 
they are the flies, 
and I am the spider

I can't play anything

I have not to write what I think
but I became a successful songwriter
