Morten Terf Andersen, also known as Sir Martin, is a Danish artist active in the underground and folk scenes. My work typically carries a strong personal voice, rooted in Nordic storytelling and folk tradition.

I perform under the artist name Sir Martin. It’s a bit of a play on identity and irony. “Sir” is a kind of self-coronation – not of honor, but of freedom. Martin is my name in English-speaking countries. When I step on stage as Sir Martin, I position myself slightly outside the roles of everyday life. It’s not about being grand, but about being honest in a small space. The music is that space.
