Erased Tapes artists Kiasmos (Janus Rasmussen & recent Late Night Tales compiler Ólafur Arnalds) and Rival Consoles are the first to reconstruct Sasha’s Scene Delete vision in their own image. Kiasmos take Scene Delete’s fragile, beatless closing track ‘Vapour Trail’ and transform it into an ambient-house anthem, equally suited to home listening or for club use. Rival Consoles’ nocturnal take on ‘Cassette Sessions E’ feeds from the London-based electronic songwriter’s critically lauded style of humanised techno, building from hypnotic melancholia to a joyous crescendo.

Among the artists brought on board for this special release is UK producer Latmun, who has had an impeccable last twelve months. His stock has skyrocketed since the inimitable 'Def' on VIVa Music. More recently, he's featured with a rework of iconic tune 'Flash' on Green Velvet's Relief Records. He hasn't stopped to look around, however, and this week we showcase his stellar remix of Prok & Fitch 'Tears'. Release date 17/10/16.

We're glad to host this new premiere from Shkoon's upcoming Jarra EP on Souq Records. This remix is a collaboration between SEGG, KeyBe, & Pandhora. They deliver a new vision of Shkoon's unique talent through their own creative prisms. 

[Release note] 

The same sun shines into the house of two unsuspecting souls, whose front doors play a game of hide and seek. The game is over as soon as their eyes meet. Jarra translates to neighbor, evoking the dance of side-by-side homes and their dwellers glimpsing fragments of each other’s lives. Through effusive downtempo, Shkoon re-ignites a traditional Iraqi story, one that sings of neighbors falling in love, weaved with melancholy and celebration, transposing of the aurora of a simpler past onto the poignancy of the present.

Stories travel through eras and peoples, carried by those who conjure them. Jarra comes alive to the tune of Shkoon’s vocalist Ameen alongside his fellow countryman the gypsy Violinist Maher and the German Musician Thorben. The remixing artists infuse folklore with evocative modern soundscapes; Nacim Gastli’s progressive passion, Boshoco’s frenzied grooves, Keybe Segg & Pandhora’s emotive deep house heights. They all explore a different facet, with words, sounds, gestures and signs of the past coming alive as a musical tale is revived for dark and light dance floors alike.

Hello Aliens ...... for this episode we have the pleasure share with you a mix of one of our favourite artists, Breger..... Well known Germany and India based dj-producer, Co- founder of the Beatplantation festival, resident dj for Vortex Goa, co-owner of Copycow, A&R for indian techno label "Soupherb Records", consistently charting in the top 10 minimal/techno on Beatport..... he plays music all over the world, and today he will drive our spaceship in this dark minimal techno trip. Enjoy!!

Bio
Germany and India based Breger, is not one to sit still. Co- founder of the Beatplantation festival and resident dj for Vortex Goa, celebrating the beaches. Musical collaborations include with Timboletti on their own label 'Copycow' and live act 'Extra Mind' with Manu Ferrantini. In between he works as an A&R for indian techno label 'Soupherb Records'.
Breger’s style varies from deep and minimal house to savage techno. His productions and sets are take-no-prisoners beats and tight sound designs. The important thing for him is that his music contains the right groove and keeps people dancing. Consistently charting in the top 10 minimal/techno on Beatport, Breger has a busy release schedule throughout 2018, in addition to worldwide bookings.

Rasmus Moses Joergensen: Drummer and musician since the day he could walk and played many years in several bands and projects till he learned the ways of the force and electronical music.
Released on labels such as: Zenon, Groove Zone, Indigo, Crotus, Velvet Inc, Novatekk, Plusquam, Electric Power Pole, Triple Drop, Mikela Bella, Brainwarp, Anarkick, TigerEyes, Wolftrap, Huldra, Ovnimoon, Glitchy Tonic, Digital Mind and Cosmic Conspiracy.
Got the first album released in 2002 with the duo-projeck “Loopiter” and a few compilations following. First solo-release was on Zenon in 2004 and really opened up for he’s so-called “funky minimal forest style” and many releases followed and the gigs builded up. started the wellknown duo-project “Bufo” and released album in 2006.
