“Trying to find an intersection between the classic sounds of labels like Metalheadz, and the driving trance and techno influences of labels like Neptune Discs felt like an exciting area to explore. They’re definitely intended for the club - I wanted to make sure they were upfront and in your face, whilst still having plenty of atmosphere, nostalgia and delicate moments weaved in too. Tokyo-based producer @rgl96 makes his LP debut with 'Touzan', an album that expands on the soulful, groove-rich sound introduced on his inaugural EPs for @breakerbreakerrecordings.

Named after the Kawagoe Tōzan fabric woven by Iguchi’s mother and featured on the artwork, the record blends together house, hip hop and jazz-tinged textures into RGL’s most distinctive statement yet - a deeply crafted vision of modern Japanese house music.

In October 2025, the pulse of Tokyo’s underground resurfaces through Kanse, co-founder of the city’s acclaimed Abducted Groove collective. His sophomore EP, Get Down, arrives via the now Paris-based Liquid Love Records, marking a refined yet raw evolution in his unmistakable electro language.

Having released on revered, dancefloor-focused imprints like Club Designs, Minuit Rapide and Liquid Love Records, Kanse has carved out a distinct space in the global electro movement — merging the mechanical precision of Detroit’s legacy with the emotional intensity of Japan’s modern club sound.

Get Down sharpens that fusion. Where his earlier work explored deep, shape-shifting rhythms, this record leans into propulsion: a tightly wound interplay of rugged machine funk, broken acid patterns, and sleek, synthetic atmospheres. Every track feels alive — elastic, restless, and aimed squarely at the physical core of the dance floor.

Beneath the voltage, there’s restraint and detail. Kanse’s command of space and rhythm reflects the same sensibility that drives Abducted Groove’s club nights — a place where electro isn’t nostalgic, but vital and forward-looking.

With Get Down, Kanse doesn’t simply revisit electro’s roots; he accelerates them. The album stands as both a continuation and a clear message — his frequency, and unique sounds are here to stay.

Cleveland based label 904L World Class Sound is back with new music, this time a delightful new remix adding to its growing discography of evocative and introspective releases. Label boss Sound On Tape’s smooth and seductive original ‘Price’ has been given remix treatment by legendary producer Byron The Aquarius. Staying true to the ethos of the label, the remix oozes sophistication. It embodies Byron The Aquarius' signature touch: hazy and deep, this remix in particular tipped more for intimate laidback listening sessions.

Mumbai-based musician, DJ and producer NATE08 returns with his sophomore album ‘Twenty Seven’ - a luminous fusion of R&B, deep house, and funk-leaning grooves, pressed to a single 140g LP in black vinyl. 
Three years on from his acclaimed debut Furaha, NATE08 expands his sonic palette with a radiant collection of tracks that balance soul-soaked vocals, late-night basslines, and warm, sun-drenched production. 

NATE08, aka Nathan Thomas, has become a central figure in Mumbai’s thriving underground, working as a session bass player, live performer, and genre-spanning DJ, while making an international impact through releases on label Needwant. ‘Twenty Seven’ captures his full range: Organic, synthetic, smooth yet floor-ready, always driven by heartfelt groove. 
From the dreamy opener ‘You’re The Reason’ featuring Mary Ann Alexander’s velvety tones, to the nostalgic glow of lead single ‘Where Are You Tonight’ (feat. Dishaan & Mallika), the album unfolds like a love letter to house music’s emotional core. Highlights include the syrupy R&B/house hybrid ‘Afterlife’ (feat. Dappest) and the golden-hour deep house shimmer of ‘Call Me Back’ (feat. Sahirah). 'Waiting' (feat. NECTAR VA VOL.1 - [SNIPPETS]

There’s something magical about “You in My Dreams.” SuperJaimie’s spellbinding vocals glide over beautifully crafted chords, delivering a sound that feels nostalgic yet innovative—evoking echoes of Electrochemie with a signature twist.

People of the Light mark their second all-female-produced release with SuperJaimie’s "You in My Dreams", a snappy vocal cut that trades in atmosphere over spectacle. The original moves on clean percussion and hushed chords, letting a soft-focus vocal carry the emotion without crowding the mix.

Jay Hill keeps the intimacy intact while nudging the drums forward for more club certainty whilst keeping the vibe strong. Meanwhile Subjacent takes a different route, streamlining into deep, driving Techno drums with a tougher low end and fewer adornments, then pares it back further on the Dub by removing the vocal for tool-room utility. An Instrumental rounds out the release for DJs who prefer the mood without the vocal.

It’s a versatile package that works from warm-up to late hours, quietly confident and continuing People of The Lights track record of bringing together some incredible artists at the top of their game.

French producer MRZ introduces Right Here, a four-track EP that connects the roots of house with today’s underground scene. Across the record he moves between lo-fi textures, classic piano chords, breakbeat rhythms, and acid basslines, building music that is both nostalgic and fresh.

The lead single What You Do (out October 10, 2025) opens with emotional pads and a 303 bassline, supported by soulful vocal samples that set the tone for the project. Break Out (out October 24, 2025) follows with breakbeat momentum and piano stabs that radiate positivity and energy. Don’t Look Back pulls from 90s club euphoria with UK-inspired breaks, uplifting soul vocals, and timeless piano chords. Closing track, Something is a direct tribute to house lovers everywhere, layering dreamy pads, a rolling bassline, and a symbolic spoken vocal.
