Here we are in the year 2020: a pivotal moment in global history that
stands to test everything that we, the free-wheeling people of Spaceship Earth, strive to fight for and embody: Peace, Love, Unity and Respect. We can’t say for certain where or when we will find ourselves in the future, whether sequestered to our interior dwellings or frolicking out underneath the fresh sunshine together, however one thing is for certain: we’re gonna need some good music.

After the better part of five years in providing an audiovisual platform for the Internet Underground Masses and now rolling 40,000 subscribers deep on their legendary Youtube channel, it is fitting that Moskalus now enters the label sector.

Moskalus Records will aim to continue to spread that which it always has aimed for: positively motivated musical expressions of love and unity cultivated from the endless corners of the Worldwide Underground Dance circuit. This is an outlet without borders or restrictions. Its a cozy bedroom to lounge in or an inviting club full of good souls to dance within. It’s the weekend you’ve been waiting for crystallized into warm loop of compassion and joy. Its gotta be Moskalus Records!   Christening the label, then, is Toyen, Oslo resident Henrik Villard, a young producer who has seen releases on Nite Records, Tooman Records and most recently Two Five Six Records from Amsterdam. Villard’s signature style fits perfectly within the mission of Moskalus Records: warm, inviting house without pretense, as groovy and lush as you’d hope. I Wanna Stay EP lays apparent these traits across its four tracks with a fisheye lens of Rhodes-like pads, distant coos, and sexy slap bass, an underwater discotheque caught at its most comforting peak.  

	We reached out to Henrik to ask what he may like to say to the people:   I guess I’d like to say thanks to everyone who listen to my music, that means a lot. Opener ‘Shadows’ is a superbly warm deep house cut with real drive in the silky smooth drums. "London-based musician and DJ, Dog Master Joe creates bouncy and atmospheric dance music, suitable for dimly-lit nightclubs and beaches at sunset.

Born in Denmark in 1995, he has been making music since a child listening to his older brother’s music collection, and draws on inspiration from sources like Kraftwerk, John Frusciante and Air, with a house-infused twist.

DJ’ing since the age of 14 and releasing music under different monikers since 16, it wasn’t till he moved to Hull in 2015 to go to university, that he found himself part of a music scene with regular gigs and a myriad of new influences. During his time at university, Dog Master Joe boasted support sets for Ross From Friends, Hammer and Mumdance to name a few. 

This was largely due to him joining University of Hull’s electronic music society/DJ collective Crystal Clear, in which he also met friend and collaborator Nick Kearney, and label colleague Ben Daddy, whose Interpolate Records is home to his new EP ‘North Mediterranean Groove Juice’. "
