Following on from his acclaimed debut for Lava Lava, Jakob is back to soundtrack your Summer with two sublime remixes from Atlantic Brain & Frederik Neu plus a bonus original production.

First up, is Atlantic Brain’s take on ‘Sparkling’. Shuffling, broken beats lean into a punchy bass line. Re-constructed piano hooks and euphoric acid lines sweep you deeper into this irresistible groove as it unfolds over 5 and a half minutes.

Next, Frederik Neu turns his hand to ‘Enjoy The Light’, giving the track an altogether deeper energy. A softer, rounded bass bounces alongside crisp percussion and echoing cowbells. Frederik draws out the breakdown, layering whispering vocals, soft chords and distant piano lines to maximum effect, making the track a perfect accompaniment to a hazy summer night’s sunset.

Rounding off the EP is bonus track ‘Pattern 2’. Jakob spins retro 808 claps and cowbells alongside acid lines, chest shaking bass notes and resonant synth stabs to create an unapologetic dance-floor detonator.
