Alex Ross is a producer and DJ from Glasgow, previously based in Aberdeen, where he became a part of the MELD collective and is behind the creation of the MELD label.

His synth-laden track "Ambivert" combines 808s with rising pads, following the groove and rhythm found in an archetypal electro track but with a conversely uplifting set of chords to match.

An endless scroll, an infinite lifetime of pointless images and meaningless nothing. From time to time a notification would flicker and bubble in the corner of the screen - a red alert with little to no urgent emphasis in the slightest. This was IG Messenger, a world of the unknown and a burden upon men and women of the modern age. When would it ever end? All that was left was a quick break from the machines, a period of sleep and rest away from the flashing lights and the distant drag of endless media. 

Eliphino is set to release a new EP on Secretsundaze, a personal affair with poignant meaning attached. The production is exquisite and intricate, the tracks sprawling and layered to perfection. This one comes highly recommended.

The 2nd official release from Portland based producer Well Being comes in the form of DAD005. This 4-track extended player showcases a plethora of sounds ranging from crunchy electro and squelched acid, to deep and dubby house. In all essence it’s a four-to-the-floor groove pizzazz of spleen synths , sopping 303’s, high-intensity drums and rolling hats. An ‘Acid Exploration’ through and through, twisting and turning at every opportunity.

This is the third electro release from Erta Ale for Solenoid Records. Side A is characterised by two tracks in which we find Erta’s distinctive energy and attention for the dance floor, but thanks to the attentive use of a Juno 106 these two songs also acquire a dreamy and even romantic emotional mood. This side is perfect for specialist radio too.  Side B excites us with an “electropical” track rich of Erta’s elements: tribal voices, percussion, a very strong ostinato bass line and acid sketches that takes us into an even more obscure and hypnotic atmosphere.

LectrO cOd_E returns to Woodwork with a relentless 5-track electro EP. As expected, the sound is intense and the energy is raw.  
 
'Infamous bass' kicks things off with choppy breaks and immense growling sub bass hits. Skittish synth work connects intimately with a pulverizing drum kit tinged with resonant flanger effects.  
 
Bass drones are a common theme that runs throughout the EP, connecting the tracks as a seamless experience. 'Resistance is futile' serves up a series of dramatic hits perfectly aligned with bubbling synth, low rider breaks and that subsonic bass drone.  
 
'Invading' quickens the pace a notch and features several passes of resonant filter bleep loops and rising effects. This increased flow winds nicely toward the abstract percussive banger, 'the force'. Kick drums, toms and noise hits punch in unison, sharing an infectious interplay that forms a unique centerpiece for this collection.  
 
Closing the EP is 'outraged', reminiscent of LectrO cOd_E's earlier work on his cOd_E Violation EP, but also a solid bridge to this present incarnation of his sound and approach.
