Manuel Sahagun lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina and has a long history in the music industry. He is known for his unique sound signature which have landed him releases on great labels such as Freerange, True Romance, Minor Notes, Lazy Days and more. And this summer he trysts with Fortunea Records, bringing along his new 3-tracker ‚A Daily Noise‘.

The record starts off with ‚Dreams‘. Don’t expect with this title a fluffy, peaceful melancholic tale. This track pushes through the door with warm subs, galloping hi-hats, xylophones and an irresistible crunchy bassline that’ll get stuck in your head for hours and hours. An absolute belter!

The EPs title-track goes on in similar manner. This time built around an eerie pad that lurks from behind and comes more and more forward in the course of time. A sign for danger? Not at all. But an optimistic relief will come along when the climax hits the dancefloor.
Finally we have ‚Hostages‘ on B2. A deep house track which has a beautiful sense of gloom and curiosity to it. Manuel gives more drama to the track by adding abstract digital glitch noises and haunting synths. A substantial treat for the ears.

‚A Daily Noise‘ comes out on the 9th of June 2023. The vinyl is limited to 300 copies. There will be no repress!

Introducing STEINGOLD, the LA-based electronic music producer who honed his skills in the legendary Detroit Techno and Hip Hop scenes of the 90s and 2000s.

Having partnered with none other than Mike D (Beastie Boys) and toured the world DJing at major festivals, STEINGOLD is now ready to unleash his highly anticipated solo project, the ELEVATE EP.

With a track record of successful collaborative releases on labels like Stones Throw, Visionquest, and House of EFunk, the ELEVATE EP marks a significant milestone for STEINGOLD, as it showcases his skills as a solo artist. The EP features an all-star lineup of collaborators, including rising star Byron The Aquarius, and legendary Chicago House producer Mike Dunn, who both lend their expert touch to remix the title track, "ELEVATE."

But that's just the beginning. "THEY LIVE" is a moody electro tune that features Elton John's touring keyboard player, Kim Bullard, and Charlie Wilson's (Gap Band) trumpet player Brandyn Phillips. STEINGOLD samples his neighbors cheering on essential workers during COVID lockdowns, adding a powerful and emotional dimension to the track.

The ELEVATE EP is a heartfelt journey through STEINGOLD's Detroit roots and influences in electronic music and rap. The title track, "ELEVATE," was created as a modern Hip House track, with STEINGOLD and Nate Husser (+1 Records) having a conversation about Booty music before jumping into the booth, and recorded before the current trend of Rap/R&B and House.

"HBF" is a slapping house jam that pays homage to Kevin Saunderson's "Inner City". All tracks on the EP were started during the COVID lockdown and finished at Owl Foot Ranch Studios in Tarzana, CA and features additional production by Jean-Michel LaPointe.

In short, the ELEVATE EP is a must-listen for fans of electronic music and rap alike. With its impressive lineup of collaborators, powerful emotional undertones, and expertly crafted beats, it's sure to leave a lasting impression on listeners.

The machine was flickering and flashing with a sense of urgency unlike that of which he had ever seen before. It were as if the mechanics of the great system were turning against the very engineer whom had crafted it. There had always been rumours that this might happen one day but never had he expected that it might be so wild and so violent in its disruption.

All around him fires blazed, the smell of smoke hung in the air as the whizzing and chirping of overheating electronics fizzed and rattled in his ears.

Soon this place would be long gone, the pressure would simply cause it to combust, leaving nothing but for the faint trace of a new humanity in the wake. Once a magical hub of creativity and promise, soon the laboratory would be a place haunted by horrid tales and abandonment.

Terrace is a bit of an underground hero - responsible for releasing some of the most innovative and exciting takes on Techno, IDM, Electro and beyond. Over the years he has released music on iconic labels such as Djax Up Beats and Delsin, as well as on his own imprint Eevo Lute.

Now he delivers a collection of futuristic sounding tracks with a nod to Detroit for Cyphon Recordings - a label which is growing from strength to strength.
