Pentland Park return to Lava Lava this March with their sophomore EP for the Glasgow label. ‘Turismo’ follows on from a highly-acclaimed 2023 Italo/Nu-Disco label debut and an amazing contribution to last year’s WAVES compilation.

With their latest 4-track EP, the Glaswegian duo showcase their impressive and diverse range of production prowess, creating a record which is catered towards intimate and unforgettable dance floor moments.

Opening the EP, ’Nostalgic’ is a dynamic dance floor-focussed track where raw percussion, retro hand claps and squelching bass hits skip alongside swirling pads and hazy melodies. The title track perfectly encapsulates the playfulness of the duo. Bright pads, soft trumpet samples and light acid tinged synth lines weave alongside a bouncing bass line and choppy vocal hooks.

‘Love Your Neighbour’ is a nod to Afro-House where shuffling percussion and twinkling synths bounce alongside deep low-end stabs and horn samples. Chopped vocals subtly unfold to give a real evocative energy. Finally, ’Rooftop’ is constantly evolving throughout with resonant bass, a crisp rhythm section and cinematic atmospherics intertwining with sharp synth licks.

Irish producer Glennny is back in the pocket – returning to Nordic Trax with Dream and a slew of late-night goodies. Following his recording debut with NT in 2024, the Wicklow (by-way-of Berlin) producer steps up to deliver a seven-track ep of deep & bluesy house. From the lead song Dream, through to stand-out tracks Sometimes and Infinite, Glennnys music imagines a world of smoke-filled afterhours and electric piano jams. Snowfox is a driving, old-school percussive track with a nod to Adonis, at home alongside the euphoric vibes of In The Morning and Floating By. Just In Summer has more than a hint of nostalgia and melancholy, this ride is a rhodes-driven ode to the eternal sunset. Long live summer and stay true to your dreams. A new name to the house music community, Glennny is a guitar player, deejay and producer making his mark on the scene. His debut release Now You Know (NT126, 2024) included a remix from Canadian house don Jon Delerious and received widespread support from the likes of DJ Magazine, Hector Morales, Sandro Bianchi, Bart Ricardo, Eddie Richards, Rob Paine and many more. Originally from Wicklow, Ireland Glennny currently resides in Berlin where he has been exploring his artistic expression in the form of house music. During his formative years in Dublin he held down a few dj residencies at The Twisted Pepper, Lost Society and Hangar. Among others hes opened for artists including Dale Howard, Boddika and De Sluwe Vos and played the Irish festival Life. He made his Amsterdam Dance Event debut in 2023 at the Loudeast x Nordic Trax party alongside Nacho Marco, Finest Wear, Gavin Boyce and Luke McKeehan.

It’s been 6 years now since our last collaboration with Roar Groove and The Revenge in 2019.
So it was about time to unleash some new heavy hitters by this House master. 

With the opener “Twisted Signal” this EP sets the pace and tone to spiraling and pulsating sines, great grooves and
hypnotic vocal use. Dark dance floor material at it’s best! Followed by the deep “Spiral Highway” the a-side is one long live jam.
On the b-side we take back the pace and make it groovy-er with the House cut “Open Your Eyes” in a true classic “Revenge” style. Closing out with the excellent lush journey that is “Your Life”, bringing back again his great vocal sample use and adding deep soulful chord flavors.
