Logia Records is proud to present a great release from our friends the Roswell Brothers, a duo originating from the rich cultural lands of Mexico and Chile, who have made a space for themselves within the underground Rock and Trance scenes. Owners of a great discography, they present a track with the voice of Sunset Amanda and the collaboration of Pablo Ramírez Durón on harmonica.

The EP has a team of luxury remixers, the Spanish Ivan De La Rouch arrives at Logia with a great version, the same does Stockholm Syndrome, now based in Melbourne, and the Russian producer Ruksby closes the cast.

For the first release of GNC Record’s digital series, we present the debut EP of Dj Noche, a new project of Augusto Brasseur. In the first part of the EP, the clever vocals of Dami Paglialunga and Nancy introduce us to Dj Noche’s world, in order to later be taken away by catchy basslines and rhythm’s that invite dancers to join the dancefloor. Both tracks include their instrumental versions, where solid basslines and melancholic pads gain protagonism, giving more versatility to the EP and helping him establish his own personal essence. Last but not least, Saigg’s remix brings a more industrial atmosphere which is coherent with the Argentine producer’s strong presence in the global electro and techno scenes.

From the city of Rosario, Augusto Brasseur creates the identity of Dj Noche by combining a past of sweat, suffering and rock n roll with his always deeper exploration in the universe of electronic music. He has worked in production of bands from diverse musical styles and has developed himself in the live scene, integrating analog hardware with DAW sessions. In his live project Micro.Tron, he achieved a sound that captivates the energy that the dancefloor demands and has played his music at iconic clubs and parties in the alternative circuits of Argentina and Uruguay. He also has published his music independently and with established labels worldwide.

Dj Noche -RAAR (Ft. Dami Paglialunga) [GNC Records]

Sometimes, the World Wide Web is beautiful, isn’t it? Today’s premiere is a good example: The Ukrainian label POVILNO, for its forthcoming release, opened the doors for another parcel of the fruitful partnership between Barcelona-based Mexican virtuoso Ludviq (SXDNS413) and Vienna’s superstar Nick Hanzo (SXDNS065). Something that would not be possible without the miracle of the doomed but still useful Internet.

According to the history books, everything started in 2021 when Nick revisioned Ludviq’s “Saltu Capsicum” for his first EP on NEIN Records. Since then, their paths have already crossed each other a few other times resulting in well-received remixes or collaborations published either on their very own imprints (Hanzo’s Belly Dance Services and Ludviq’s Bonkers) or other platforms such as Melomana and Quixotical.

For their debut on POVILNO, the lads came up with a couple of “thought-bending and dance-floor-ready originals” and invited none other than Lebollet (RASTROLIVE004) and Leonor (SXDNS034) for the remix duties.

Premiered here, "Ace of Pentacles" develops its magic by showing off an imperative bassline topped with a complex concoction of percussive elements and sharp FX shots. The oscillating synth layer triggers a mesmerising break during the drop just to be abruptly interrupted when all the hysteria of the aforementioned mixture starts over. That’s the title track, a “catchy exploration through deep basslines, intricate rhythms, and cosmic syncopation.”

Teniente Castillo returns to Roam Recordings with Two to Tango - an artfully crafted dark offering backed by a strong set of remixers that carry the integrity of the original into uniquely different areas. The original version from Play Pal Music label boss combines guitars and electronic sounds in a way that both sounds like a live band and an abstract excerpt from a conscious machine. Legendary New York artist Justin Strauss takes on the first remix adding a vocal that sounds like it was always meant to be underpinned by an exquisite liquid bassline. Thomass Jackson is up next with a beautifully quirky rendition that feels like an after party for which you want to be invited. Kaputt club resident Nuclear Digital Transistor rounds out the EP with a percussive version that brings out the guitars from the original in a new light and we gotta say if uniquely fitting basslines are your thing Nuclear Digital Transistor seals the deal on this four track EP.

The Wayfarer (Mr Pyjama's original progressive instrumental mix)

With Shimmering Lights, I aimed to make an old-school electronic track in the style of The Chemical Brothers and Underworld, but with some current production techniques.

The wonky 303 bass has a Daniel Avery Drone Logic vibe, which I see as a modern(ish) equivalent of those artists’ classic albums.

The newsreel sample was quite a late addition but really brought the track to life, and time-stretching and looping the "everything everything" vocal really doubled down on that Underworld vibe.

I'm massively stoked about the remixes for this release - a real treasure trove from the scene - and each remixer has captured that old-school quality in their own way.
