In recent years, Eora/Sydney-based Human Movement has been making waves, steadily picking up support from tastemakers such as Logic1000, Eris Drew, D. Tiffany, as well as heavy rotation across BBC Radio 1. Effortlessly flickering between leftfield atmospherics and unadulterated rave and breaks, Human Movement cements his party-starting sensibilities across the energetic ‘Clutch!’ EP for NYC staple HOMAGE.

Leading the release is the much anticipated ‘Rude Boi’, which has been lighting up online ID forums. Combining squelching basslines, raved-up breaks, and piercing synth stabs, the track is a no-holds-barred slammer. Following is ‘Lody’s Hips’, with bouncing low end, piano licks, and electro-tinged drums forming a grooving backdrop for dusty vocal samples.On the flip, ‘Slim Lim’ charges ahead with a murky groove laden with slinky leads and hyped vocal chops. Closing out the release, the mysterious Ozzy remixes ‘Lody’s Hips’, flipping the original into a wonky concoction of melodic flair and woozy sound design to round out another all-star EP from HOMAGE.

Since 2017, HOMAGE has remained a go-to imprint for upfront party sounds. Run by House Of Yes residents Ryan Clover & Fabi Jugo, the label has released music from Cinthie, Kettama, Ben Gomori, Teakup, and more.

Her debut EP ‘Belonging’ caught our attention a few months ago and we haven’t stopped playing it since.

The highly-anticipated second release from Troubleshoot comes from long-time friend of the London-based label, Scaefa, who has been steadily rising through the ranks of the UK electronic music scene for some time. The Reading born and raised artist has had previous releases on heavyweight labels such as La Bonne Musique and Draconian Audio, and radio play on revered stations including BBC Radio 1, certifying him as one to watch for the future.

The four-track EP – set to arrive on September 16th – showcases a unique variation of sounds, from bass-forward breakbeats to pounding melodic trance, Scaefa’s eclectic and wide-ranging music taste is present from beginning to end in Dream Stealer.

The record starts with title track “Dream Stealer”, rolling out big beats, heavy bass, and bouncing leads, paired with layers of lush pads and ambient chords. “Fault Line” is an uptempo, electro influenced track with emotionally charged, pulsating strings running throughout, along with metallic drums, rumbling bassline, syncopated synths and melodies floating in the spaces between to create a truly atmospheric experience. “Mythos” is a groovier, techno track that takes cues from the heavily percussive electronic music which renowned artists like Call Super and Pearson Sound have become known for in recent years.

To close, “Overflow” is a euphoric trance banger with ravey stabs, techy percussive elements and anthemic drops built for big room clubs and festival stages which Scaefa’s releases have become synonymous with.

Troubleshoot is a London-based record label run by Jon Selbo with a focus on dancefloor-driven sounds from across the electronic music spectrum, including house, techno, electro, breakbeat, and beyond. Written between 2020-2021, “Cerulean” is a ten-track album which delves into the isolation of the emotion of blue. The tracks flow between UK genres, combining sliced breaks, emotive melodic synths and deep pulsating low end to audibly display Jeigo’s intricate and melancholic production qualities. The album was produced in his former family home in South West London during the pandemic and finished in his home for the last two years in Peckham. Each track sits on the border of home listening and club functionality, with essences of crying on the dance floor euphoria, to those blissful or challenging moments alone.
