After a year of lethargy, SD Records returns with a tremendous EP signed by Ludowick.
One of the most beloved remixers of the family finally deserved a solo EP, and the occasion has arrived in the SD 30th release.

Always Dreaming becomes one of the high points of Luis' career, of which we still don't know its peak. The EP is made up of 3 songs simmered for 5 years, and although they represent 3 different moods, the common denominator is the dancefloor.

Vitamin is a timeless Garnerian ode, confetti-scented but meticulously crafted. Luis germinated the idea a few years ago but took it up again last 2022 with new ideas to create this marvellous anthem.

Always Dreaming creates a minimalist and dreamlike atmosphere thanks to the dub dyes of the house, accompanied by a tech-house rhythm with sounds of the mythical 909.

In Its So Good Luis lets us glimpse his love for 90's house and 80's pop, with a vocal and tribal track inspired by artists like Yazoo or Madonna.

Maryag's mini-album "History B" is born out of the intricacy of history, in which we search for sincere human emotions. Like any search, the music here represents a combination of paths towards truth, blending styles and musical influences, seasoned with experimentation. British sound, African percussion, stretched Moog basslines, and ambient synthesized textures all come together in Maryag's new release - "History B."

Maryag is the pseudonym of Maxim Zhestkov, who combines the roles of musician, DJ, and producer. Over the past few years, his work has appeared on independent labels such as FROUFROUFROU, Inhale Exhale, Bellissima! Records, and others, and his mixes often appear on various online radio stations. Preferring Detroit house and New York disco sound, he sometimes ventures into experimenting with broken beats, introspective melodies, and elongated basslines.

South Korean Artist Radiofear is presenting his new EP 'Skyline' on Zürichs Ozelot Records. It manifests and captures the contemporary experience of inhabiting the megacity of Seoul.

The album begins with a track called ‘Asphalt,’ which refers to the hard mixture that makes up the pavements and roads of a city. Despite its rough and lifeless appearance, it provides a firm ground for the pedestrians and vehicles, holding up their weight. The track therefore carries such duality of coldness and warmth associated with the streets of a metropolis. The next track ‘City Report’ is an intuitive response to the speed of urban life, consisting of fast drum sounds. Meanwhile, ‘Morning Shift’ paints an image of the dark blue sky at dawn—a sight that greets people as they walk out of their houses to go to work in the morning. The last and main track ‘Skyline’ takes inspiration from the diversity of elements that comprises a city, from cars driving by to the lights blinking on billboards. Taking each observation and encounter as an ingredient, Radiofear builds a vivid image of his home city, where endurance, vigor, and solitude coincide.

Mark Hawkins has been a mainstay of Aus Music and the underground scene for years. He is an accomplished studio wizard who can do a dizzying array of styles with equal energy and emotion. His adaptability has kept him en vogue ever since he first emerged from the UK party scene in the 90s. He has played all over the world but now focuses on refining his production and engineering skills evermore as he follows up his recent LP on the label with this fresh new offering. ‘Open Hearted' rides on a broken beat electro rhythm with surging chords washing over you like a wave of emotion. An aloof but sensuous female vocal is a perfect hook as the kinetic drums make you move, and the psychedelic synths stay busy in the background. The equally brilliant 'Let U Fall' is a gorgeous and bright house cut with an alluring R&B vocal. There are hints of modern hip-hop production in the snappy snares and colourful synth details, while rich piano chords and driving drums are sure to sweep the dance and floor up and away.

Accomplished UK mainstay J1Mi launches the long awaited Beyonders label with a fantastic first EP that captures the eclectic nature of his sound.

J1mi aka James Hadfield has been making all manner of sounds for years - both solo and as one half of Lizards - from house to disco, Balearic to techno, and always on revered labels like MeMeMe, Not An Animal, Leng, Futureboogie and Phonica. He is part of the Beyonders collective that was started by Jason and Mark Goodings of 90’s pioneering breaks and drum and bass duo Hidden Agenda. The collective is now back after a hiatus following Mark's tragic passing in 2016 and is as fruitful as ever with members including James as well as Mal Sharp and Nick Grimes and now a new label.

James continues to host Beyonders Present events in his hometown of Newcastle and has played at the likes of Glastonbury, Stowaway and Pikes this year, as well as across Europe in the past. Luke Una and Man Power are big supporters of his work and this is the first EP from the collective and label, with the following four all mastered and ready to go over the next year.

The brilliant 'Sixes Now' has a menacing synth screwing about the mix before percussive grooves and elastic bass arrive to lock you into a dark disco groove full of menace and suspense. The thumping 'Modern Maze' is another hugely inventive sound with rickety rhythms, erotic vocal coos and wiry synths. A bewitching breakdown brings acoustic guitars and places the vocal front and centre before the punchy house kicks come back once more.
'Desire' featuring Crazy P vocalist Danielle Moore is an indie disco cut with jazzy chords and playful funk riffs that lift the spirits and cruise on smooth grooves. Closer 'Japanese Kipling' is a prickly brew with off-grid hots and vocal sounds, distant hits of melody and dubby rhythms that are wonderfully intoxicating.

This standout first EP very much sets the scene for what is sure to be a crucial UK label.

We’re proud to present the sixth release on flurt — Spectre EP [FLRT006] — a six-track journey from UK producer PiNG (UK), featuring incisive reworks from Mortalyf and Oscar Jones.

The four originals explore stripped-back, micro minimalism—textural, darker sounds unfolding through fractured rhythms, subtle percussive detail, and deconstructed atmospheres. Each track navigates the space between tension and release, inviting careful listening and immersive focus.

Mortalyf and Oscar Jones bring their own interpretations to the EP, adding contrast and dimension. The remixes accentuate PiNG’s hypnotic framework while introducing new twists—off-kilter grooves, punchy low-end energy, and dynamic rhythmic shifts.

PREMIERE: PiNG (UK) - Used To Come Here [FLRT006]

After their debut with "Sakura", FINNEST presents "Feel Me In Your Soul" by Kevin Deep, in their first reference of their division "Groovy Series" On side A, we find "Feel Me In Your Soul", a very pretty minimal house with a groove full of energy and movement accompanied by some hot melodies, the main element, the vocal is super sexy, it takes you to a point of no return from which you do not want to leave. Like B-side, "Pad Love", as its name says, magical pads accompanied by a very deep bassline, this time with a more crunchy groove and an elegant vocal that makes you feel like you are in the clouds, the vibe is soft. In general, a very solid maxi for the presentation of "Groovy Series", this great release by our friend Canario, cannot be missing from your playlist.
